Hannah listened as Lavender talked about the baking she'd done that day. Hannah could cook well enough but she never felt her desserts were up to par. "I'll definitely have to come by. I've got the day off tomorrow. I didn't want to have to rush after my shift to get ready for the gala."

She turned and summoned a glass as she reached for the bottle of Lavenders requested wine. "I went shopping with Bianca this morning and found the perfect dress," she said pouring the wine. "Will you be there tomorrow evening?" Hannah was looking forward to the evening and knowing that she'd have other friends there would help if Ernie got whisked away for work.
