WEASLEY, ron b. ([info]pigwidgeoned) wrote in [info]pandorarpg,
Ron sighed and released his hold on Percy. He shouldn't be man-handling him anyway, but it was pretty much all he could bring himself to do then to try to get the man to see sense. But really, would Ron be seeing sense at a time like this? Well, Ron wouldn't react like this though, so it was hard for him to really say one way or the other.

"Percy, you don't have to do anything. It's just-" Ron didn't really know how to describe it. It was so soon for him to be on the other side of this, trying to help someone through when he wasn't through it himself yet. He wasn't even nearly through. Maybe he could get up and go to work in the morning, but look how his first real day back had gone. If this was any indication as to how life without his best mate was going to be, he wondered if he shouldn't just consider bunking on it altogether. But no, this was not the advice you were supposed to give someone else. So how was he, Ron Weasley, who just lost his best friend Harry, supposed to help in this situation when he couldn't keep it together really?

"It's just hard. And I don't know when it stops being hard." Yeah, not the right advice at all. "But you lot help me get my arse out of bed in the morning, at the very least." And now he was just talking about himself, which wasn't even how it was supposed to work. At least he knew that his calling was not to comfort people.
