Ron didn't think that was the right of it at all, but he needed to get this out eventually and if he didn't say it now, he probably never would and Percy would end up shaking it out of him from frustration. Why had he volunteered himself to do this again? This was a sodding nightmare!
"Percy," Ron began once again, but still he paused. How was he supposed to start? With the worst bit of it? Was he supposed to say that he was there too? This was so complicated! "Percy," he repeated again for good measure because it seemed to make him feel like he was getting somewhere, even though he obviously wasn't, "Penelope was murdered today. I-I was meant to meet with her about her brother like you told me but she-she never showed and I got worried. I went to her flat - fuck - Percy, I-I saw her die. I saw the witch who killed her." Yeah, he didn't feel like this was going well at all. He looked at Percy, waiting for a reaction, feeling like he was walking on broken glass.
