Ron took the cup of from Percy though he wasn't even worried about drinking it. His hands were a bit shaky and he spilled some of it on the way to the sofa so he just set it on the table and let it be. He did as Percy bid him, breathing in and out slowly until he had calmed down. Percy was here now and he was fine and Ron needed to focus on the task at hand, however unfortunate it may be.
"Right, thanks." He didn't know what he was thanking him for, but it didn't really matter at that point. "So er, Percy. I-I have-" Ron didn't know what he was supposed to say. He didn't know how he was supposed to say it. He'd never really said something like this to his family. He told Hermione about Harry but it wasn't quite the same situation; he had still been in shock and Harry was a different animal altogether as he had been rather close to him whereas he did not really know Penelope that well. "I have bad news. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to tell you it." He was now fairly certain that that probably wasn't the right way to start out though. He was such an idiot.
