Percy had been in the kitchen, pouring water from kettle to teapot to make himself a nice cup of earl grey. He had felt drowsy on and off all day, as he'd been afraid of sleeping for fear of dreaming again. His nerves were getting shot and he had yet to find a way to cope with everything, as it had all been fine until the realization that this wasn't anything he could control, and that it affected people other than himself.
He was startled by the banging on his door and nearly spilled the water all over himself. He rolled his eyes, thinking that Ron must have seen his journal entry (as it had been readable by all ministry employees) and overreacted. After all, Percy never took time off work.
He felt now was as good a time as ever.
"The door is open!" he shouted back, reaching out to take a second set of cup and saucer, as it appeared there would be two for tea. "Will you please stop banging like a goblin before my door breaks down? It would be rather bothersome to replace."
