Ern had poured himself a cup of coffee and foregone the milk, just since he needed the caffeine and wanted to get straight to the heart of the matter. He took a sip before starting.
"Well primarily about the nature of these so-called nightmares," Ernie said, leaving out the bit about the prophecies that Michael had spoken on Lavender's behalf about. He'll probably bring it up afterwards if it did fit in somewhere.
He looked into his coffee for a moment, as if trying to read something the dark liquid. "I guess my main concern is that these aren't dreams, but are memories. It leaves one to wonder why the murderer would be interested in these memories. Or if it happens to be one big coincidence--I wouldn't mind if it were a coincidence, but it's not something we can take comfort in just yet."
