It was funny how that when there was something to figure out, any prior dispute between them didn't matter. Eli was invigorated by this new energy between them, although not at all willing to admit that it was possible they could have been here two days ago. He might have been a genius, but he was far from perfect or even all the compassionate and empathetic.
