He didn't hear the gasp, or she never would have heard the end of actually being worried about him. He did have a knack of laughing at himself, something he was glad about, because if you couldn't laugh at yourself, you sure as hell couldn't successfully run a joke shop. Still, her little jab at his missing ear made him grin even wider. He put a cupped hand up to said missing ear and leaned towards her a little. "What? What was that? I can't hear you!" he joked.
Of course, Ally was on him much faster than he'd hoped she'd be, she was much more familiar with her broom, and it was much better than his.
