Marietta picked up her wand from the counter and slammed the door shut and locked it, fuming. If he wanted to play this game, she would certainly play it. All she needed was a few pieces in the right places and she'd be well on her way to getting that smug grin wiped off of Zacharias Smith's face, especially when she told him that she'd planned the whole bloody thing from the start.
Marietta picked up the wine glass that had been Roger's and downed the rest of the contents. At least her version of being pregnant meant that she could drink without having to worry about any weird deformities, not that she would really care if Zacharias' baby was deformed in any way—it could probably improve upon the little monstrosity.
The Smith family healer would not be too difficult to track down. She could probably just owl Adelle and tell her that she was looking to switch healers as her own was becoming too incompetent to deal with. Blackmailing was always one option and Marietta's personal favourite, but would take her longer to set up, so the easiest option for her to take would be the Imperius Curse. She would get the guaranteed results she needed when she and her father-to-be visited the family healer and she would have that prat right where he deserved to be.
