As much as Hermione hated stoking his temper like this, she figured he probably needed to get it all out, so it was a good thing. "They don't think you did it for no reason, they know what's going on, how pissed you've been, they'll get over it. It wouldn't hurt to go back in and explain, though, if you care about what they think." she looked at him just as seriously, not backing down. "The point of friends is that they forgive you, even if you've done something ridiculous."
"You know I wouldn't if it wasn't important, but what other person could easily get in there quickly? I promise as soon as this is behind us I'll leave again, I won't stay longer than I need to, but I'm glad you understand." she crossed her arms again and never let her eyes leave his face. "You're right, we're not alone in this, but we're still key players. Besides, I don't trust anyone nearly as much as I trust you, and I am not going to depend on Ernie to keep me safe, he's just trying to help. We do need all the help we can get."
