The Murders
Hermione looked over at Ron seriously, knowing he was going to hate what she had to say on the topic. She looked back at the rest of the group before continuing. "He's right, breaking into the department is a bad idea, not when we don't know much about the place. And I think some of us should definitely focus on who the murderer is, but learning about that object will help us learn about the killer. Which will help us to know what we're up against and how to approach it."

She glanced back at Ron once more, but couldn't look at him when she spoke next. "I thought it might make sense for me to transfer to the Department of Mysteries, at least until this person is caught. I'm not doing anything helpful in my department right now, and I have the required NEWTs to qualify as a candidate. We might be able to learn a great deal more about this whole situation that way." She looked back at Ron quickly. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
