The Murders
Hermione sat up a bit when the topic of the murders was brought up for discussion. She'd done a little bit of looking into on that, but not a whole lot. Still, she had something to say about it.
"I think it's important that we find the connections between the victims," she said, her voice very obviously shaking as she spoke. She wasn't completely sure she would make it through the meeting without crying, but she was going to try. "I think we're all aware of who has been killed so far, but the one I'm interested in focusing on is the first one. Dmitri Zurlo, died in the Department of Mysteries, and that an item was removed." Hermione took a deep breath before continuing. "Before the Gala, I met with... with Harry. He was looking into the death and the missing object. He thought it was what should be focused on. I agree." She waited then to see what the others might say, and to get herself back under control.
