Angie blinked at that. She hadn't expected that reply, though really, she probably should have, given everything else he'd said so far. "That wasn't an offer either," she growled, angry that that wolfish smile on his face made him more attractive.
"I don't doubt that. You're about the most irritating, infuriating bloke I've had the displeasure of-" Her eyes widened and she cut herself off mid-tirade. Her voice dropped to a low hiss and she stepped closer, intending her words for his ears only. "You are lucky you're in uniform and we're in public, Warrington."
