One bad decision leads to another.
Characters: Angie & Cade
Setting: The Nag’s Head Pub in Porthmadog Wales, Friday night November 7th, after Justin's party.
Summary: Angie wants to drink just enough to make a bad decision.
Rating: Will eventually be not work-safe
Angie left Justin's party while it was still going strong. Her mind hadn't been there really, and she'd probably apologise to Justin later - assuming her noticed since there were plenty of other people there to distract him. It had been a good time but Angie still cut out when she did, headed home and changed her clothes. She knew exactly where she wanted to go and what she was intending, and the way she'd been dressed for Justin's wasn't, well, suitable.
It would probably stun Ally and Melinda both to know that Angie had this dress in her closet, much less was actually putting it on willingly, but she had to admit a certain fondness for it and yet rarely wore it. She roughed up the bold sexiness of it with studded boots, threw on a nice warming charm, donned her coat and headed for Porthmadog.
Porthmadog had a few wizarding shops and pubs hidden - in plain sight if you knew where to look - including the one called the Nag's Head, which was Angie's destination. It wasn't a dive, exactly. the floor were clean in the early evening at least, and there was good food, better service, and even better drinks. The firewhiskey was excellent, and they brought in some stronger racial brews as well. Better yet, the ale wasn't a bit watered down. It was a bit pricey for anything close to top shelf, but you were getting what you paid for. Angie however didn't exactly intend to be buying herself too many drinks.
She found a spot at the bar after doffing her coat and leaving it at the closet in the front. Handily spelled so that only the wearer or bartenders could remove a patron's coat for that patron, it was a surety she'd get it back later. She found herself at the bar fully prepared to buy her own first round if no one jumped at the chance to save her the trouble. It was late, so there was already a decent crowd and she turned a few heads relatively quickly. Good. She wanted to get pissed and belligerent, and the faster the better. It didn't take too long before she'd gotten herself to the 'happy' stage, which for Angie meant challenging the unsuspecting to a drinking contest. Which to some of those men, meant being emasculated outdrunk by a pretty woman in a very fitting red leather dress.
She was well on her way to a much better night than she'd had in a while.
