Zacharias & EVERYONE
When Justin had heard Zach's voice, he'd been about to go greet him and say how happy he was that his former roommate had decided to come after the day he'd had. That all ended when he heard what the bloke had to say.
He'd been confused at first, wondering what the hell Zach was talking about, but then he layed into Dean, and Ernie, and Bianca and Jasper, and Justin had been ready to politely ask him to leave.
And then Zach's ire had been turned on Justin, and even though he thought he'd gotten over hearing awful things said about himself, he was wrong. Even though he'd always known Zacharias was an arse and whatever he said was more for shock value than anything else, he couldn't help but feel every single jab as if it were a knife slicing into his heart. Somehow, Zach had managed to touch on the few insecurities he had, and laid them bare for all to see.
Being the coward he freely admitted to being, he turned and fled for Ernie's bedroom before his eyes could fill with unbidden tears, closing the door softly behind himself. He felt horrible for reacting as he had, thinking he should have stayed behind to speak up for his friends, but he couldn't. Not yet, not until it stopped hurting.
