Zacharias & EVERYONE
Zacharias Smith was drunk. This was not a new thing. The new part came in the fact that while tonight he was drunk, he also once again wealthy. Except it didn't feel like he had always hoped it would. He was supposed to be put back in his family's good graces without the promise of some horrible, fat, ginger baby. And sure, his father was dead, but that didn't seem that important. Not with the previously mentioned issue at hand and the whole everyone hates him thing.
Admittedly those were both two things he had brought on himself, but it wasn't like anyone would give him the space to even try to grow. At this point, Zacharias Smith was who he was and sort of something extreme that wasn't going to change.
The how he ended up outside of Ernie's flat was pretty clear, it was the why that he didn't know yet. Yes, he might have ruined the surprise, but Ernie had made the error in inviting him and the symmetry of it seemed fitting. Zacharias didn't want Justin at the services this morning just as much as he imagined that no one wanted him showing up at the party. And he did seem to quite like symmetry and balance these days. As he knocked at the door there was no plan in mind, plans were for other people, right now he just wanted to get in and whatever happened, happened.
