MURDER PLOTS THICKEN
By Betty Brathwaite
LONDON - As promised, loyal readers, we have obtained further information from our source within the DMLE regarding the recent mysteries that have stricken our world.
The Aurors have found evidence linking the last four deaths - Dmitri Zurlo, Harry Potter, Isaiah Smith, and Rosalind Bungs - and are now investigating them as a single case.
Our source states that of the four dead, three of them (all but Zurlo) were reported to have been suffering from strange nightmares, and had been witnessed to have had a dark spot somewhere on their body, a spot that was notably absent upon post-mortem inspection.
In a 'strange' coincidence, a piece of evidence was discovered missing from the room where Dmitri Zurlo was found dead in the Department of Mysteries. The item was a box that had been originally discovered by Harry Potter in his efforts to collect the dark items that had been amassed by You-Know-Who. It is estimated that the box was taken during the day of October 31st, and may have been a factor in the original murder of Harry Potter.
Zurlo's cause of death remains a mystery, but there is speculation that it is also related to the missing box.
