michael corner is reluctantly growing up (mlcorner) wrote in pandorarpg,
Michael had not been expecting to get assaulted by vegetables today, but life had always taken him by surprise in this way. One hit him on the shoulder before he looked up and was able to barely duck out of the way of the next falling orange vegetable, which hit the pavement near his trainers. He saw Lavender leaning over the side of the roof and shrugged slightly, raising his voice a bit so she could hear him. "I told you I wasn't giving up. I brought food," he said, holding up the bag in his hand, "though it seems you've already got some judging by what you've thrown at me."
He leaned down and picked up the remnants of the carrots she'd thrown at him and then disappeared from where he stood, appearing seconds later on the roof next to her. "A bit wasteful, really. These were surely good carrots. Should've just thrown dirt at me instead. You could have cut up these and put them in your soup," he offered her the carrot bits, not sure if she wanted to salvage them or not.
