The day was going to be tough enough with the rest of the family descending like hawks for the next twenty-four hours. He needed his sister if he was going to make it through.
There was also that little fact that his mother would never let him hear the end of it if he actually lost Adelle. Not that wasn't perfectly capable of handling her own. That in of itself was the largest reason why he wasn't actually worried. Adelle might have needed protection when she was a first year, but not so much now.
