What DMLE employees will know by the morning of November 6th
As of the morning of November 6th, there have been four noted deaths, one of which the cause is still unknown (Zurlo); the other three have been quite bloody. Of those three, two (Harry Potter and Isaiah Smith) have people claiming they had a mark on their body and nightmares, but the mark is not present on the corpse upon inspection. Those people had also been having recurring nightmares. The most recent victim's name has not been released, but it is known to be Rosalind Bungs, confirming the rumors that are going around. Whether she was marked or had nightmares is not yet known.

There is now evidence that the death of Zurlo, as well as the murder of Harry and this missing box from the Department of mysteries are related. The two separate cases are now being treated as one, and Aurors Davies, Longbottom, Pucey, and Warrington are now working collaboratively.

One working theory as to the nature of the cases being related hinges on the box. It is likely Zurlo broke into the ministry for that box. It killed him, or perhaps whatever was/is in it did. Harry was handling the case uncovering information related to both Zurlo and the box. Harry was known to have been collecting Voldemort's dark items to store away. The box had been one of them. Perhaps he even caught the thief or got wind of something the killer wanted kept silent. It could well explain why he was killed by mundane means, not magical. The killer could well have been in a hurry.
