Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Penelope heard someone asking for her at the desk. Just as the clerk turned around to point at the stairs that led to the offices, Penelope greeted Lavender at the bottom of the steps.

"Hello Lavender--I hope it wasn't too hard to find your way here. My office is upstairs, we can talk there." She looked much more bright and animated than she felt, as mere thoughts of the nightmares did make her feel anxious. The prospect of finding answers was exciting though, to say the least.
