Bianca had been expecting an unpleasant reaction from lavender, but not one quite so severe. She wanted to ask what it was specifically the other woman was so afraid of, so worried about, that the reading - which was bad enough - had affected her so strongly. But before she could ask, Lavender ran from the room.
Bianca was left with tea and remnants of cake, neither of which she wanted any longer. After a moment, Bianca shivered again, fear icing her spine, and she quickly moved to put the cards away. She didn't want to see them staring back at her and she definitely didn't want them still out when Lavender returned.
One thing was for certain: Bianca didn't want another vision, not while she was in this frame of mind. She sincerely hoped that when the next one came, it wouldn't leave her feeling like this reading did. After another moment, she got up and followed Lavender. Outside the door, she called quietly, "Lavender? Are you all right?"
Obviously she wasn't. Bianca frowned. She;d been invited over by someone as interested in two of her favorite pastimes - baking and divination - and the result had been disastrous. It would take her some time to force herself out socially again, that was for sure.
