Her hand went to her chest as she felt the sadness leave her, the leftover humiliation drain away from her, and a genuine smile spread over her face. She still remembered what had happened and how she had felt, but... it wasn't important anymore, and everything just seemed so much more wonderful, brighter.
"Thank you," she said softly as she leaned forward to give the young gentleman a kiss on the cheek. "Come see me after my act, and I'll give you a free lap dance," she whispered into his ear before pulling back.
She looked around the stage and some of the men had begun leering and hooting in enthusiasm. "That's my cue," she said with a grin. "So unless you'd like to be my prop, I'd suggest getting a seat down below for the rest of the show." Her wink showed through her mask.
