"It wasn't because of a nightmare, was it," Bianca asked in a rush, as though she were afraid that if she slowed down, she'd lose her nerve. "Terrible ones, dead frightening, I mean? Felt almost real?" She was actually hoping Hannah would say no, that this strange occurrence wasn't as wide-spread as she was beginning to fear it was.
She didn't want to be looking for frightening things around every corner. She was a timid person by nature, certainly, but it wasn't as though she delighted in being so nervous. Really, she wanted to just go home and bake something and not dwell on it at all.
