Hannah's stomach growled as the scent of freshly fried eggs floated on the air. Normally, she would have had breakfast long before now. However, she hadn't much of an appetite this morning. She had made some tea in the hour or so just before dawn and had used it to try to calm her own nerves.
As they exited out onto the street Hannah noted that the dreariness of the sky matched her mood. "I didn't get as much sleep as I normally do," she said plainly not wanting to give voice to the fears that had plagued her all night. Each time she'd closed her eyes to try and sleep again the vivid image of the Dark Mark hovering over Ernie's lifeless body had flashed across her mind.
