It would be a stupid mistake more common to a crime of passion, and while Cade knew that there were plenty of people out there who were no fans of Harry Potter - present company included - Zacharias was the only person at the Gala to be found covered in blood. As far as anyone had seen, anyway.

Whatever. It wasn't Cade's case to bother himself with, and he was ready to leave Zacharias to his own devices, but that aborted statement stopped him. "'Unless' what?" Cade asked with sharp interest.
