Adrian leaned back and steepled his fingers. She was good, he could see that. "Perhaps I should. Marry a Muggleborn, that is. I don't care much about blood purity, clearly not as much as my mother does. What I would like, Ms. Bungs, is to be left alone to make my own decisions. My mother has yet to realize I am in fact capable of it. I by no means need another woman, especially one paid by her, interfering in my life."
He exhaled. "If I thought she'd be so easily deterred, I'd do well to find my own perfectly unsuitable wife. But I'm doubtful the sort of woman I'd prefer would be involved in a service such as this."
Adrian shook his head and stood up, but did not leave. "I apologize for my tone and my manner, Ms. Bungs, but considering my feelings on the matter, I'm frankly not interested."
