She flipped through the book and noted that the creased corners went quite a ways through the reading. It seemed he was almost done with the book. "Surprising because you wouldn't expect me to read something like that?" she ventured. "Or because the details are so clear?"
She knew him well enough that he would have found this type of book to be completely up Justin's alley but not necessarily her forte. Though she knew that if she were ever to pull Ernie out of that protective shell he wore around himself she would have to make him realize that she was more like the woman in the book than a character from a children's book. "Obviously either way you've been enjoying it."
