The boy was a bit nervous. Highly nervous as a matter of fact. Legolas' face softened, his hands still clearly visible. He then raised a brow slightly, his head tilting up a little. It was a pose he was taught in the court of his father, this Max Evans didn't think him good enough? He did say that he did not wish to be rude. The fact was still apparent that this Max Evans did not think Legolas Thranduilion capable of handling this situation.
"I am one of three that are in charge here, Max Evans." Legolas spoke clearly, keeping his voice cool and calm. "I am then a bearer of bad news, you are now a being of this mansion. You are not of your world any longer, none of us are here. You may call your father all you wish, but if he is not here, I doubt that he will hear your voice."
Perhaps he was being too harsh. Yes, he was. This male did not know Legolas, just as Legolas did not know him. A small smile graced the elf's lips, and he moved into a more relaxed pose. "Please, do not apologize. I do believe all of us that have come here have been distraught and prone to rash actions." He motioned to the fountain, "Sit, take time to become calm again, please.' He added as an after thought, moving to the fountain and sitting on the ledge. He smiled down at the fish, some eying the fairies above the surface as if they were a next meal.
The term mister, made Legolas consider it's meaning for a moment. It was used like master perhaps, if it was indeed that, then by all means it was fine for this male to use it with his name. After all Smeagol called all 'master'. "I shall. You have been brought here by greater powers. Gods, goddesses and the like that you may or may not believe in from your world. That is the general consensus we have come up with, that is the feeling that Acheron Parthenopaeus got upon his arrival here. He is knowledgeable in such, I trust him." Legolas smiled and nodded slightly.
"The why you are here, I cannot tell you, other than someone wanted you here. I do know this, the mansion knows you. Your room will be fitted to your comforts, having your belongings within as if you were home." Legolas took a moment to skim his fingers over the surface, the good fairies around him watching this movement with interest it seemed. "You will have comforts here, food well prepared for you by the kitchen, lots to explore, new people and beings to meet. The mansion grows and changes, there is always something new. Like today, these flying people came." He smiled and held one in the palm of his hand after it landed there.
"There is no way out that we know of yet. People come through the gates there, or appear on the island. Acheron Parthenopaeus was the first to arrive. Hatake Kakashi and I came later, that is why we are somewhat in charge, because we were brought here first." He lifted a shoulder, looking the male over with kind eyes. "Any questions?"
