Legolas listened to Max, not quite understanding why he had not felt or seen Max's past now. "Perhaps when I rest, your past will come to me. Or if I allow myself to settle and concentrate on such." He canted his head to the side and studied Max. "I have lived a long life, I am surprised that you saw all of it. It amazes me that you have, Max. Perhaps I will think on your life and it will come to me." He smiled, "I will need quiet for such and do not wish to take it out of your time of exploration with me."
"You are special. Each and every being is different, therefore it makes them unique to behold. Each is beauty in their own right, and respect and love should be theirs from each other being that can bear their unique presence." Legolas smiled and took in a deep breath, and let it out. He loved the air here, it was still clean and not filled with dark, not yet. The call of the sea beckoned him still, even though he knew the isle was far from here. "You might not be a wizard exactly. If Gandalf comes, perhaps he can teach you other powers?"
Legolas laughed, "Of course I have time! Elves rarely sleep, Max, you might be asking for too long a day for yourself." He teased the other lightly with a small smile. Watching the excitement Max possessed was like a breath of the freshest air off the untouched sea. Laughing lightly, Legolas nodded, "Of course." He peered off the balcony, giving a smile to Max. "Are you agile?" Stepping up on the balcony's ledge, Legolas threw his arms out wide, closing his eyes and taking in the air. The storm brewing did little to deter Legolas.
There was a small sound of rumbling thunder along the horizon, the dark clouds flowing in and stilling over the mansion. "Perhaps, we had best hurry. Do you wish to climb down here or do you need to take the stairs? I can help you down here if you wish." Legolas gave a smile to the other, not sure if he would have pride like Gimli, or be willing to receive help like Aragorn and the hobbits.
