Ash could see the young girl’s logic in thinking that some men could be spooky space creatures. “You’re quite right, they very well could be, but I promise you I’m not one.” He smiled softly, nodding his head as if to reassure her. He chuckled at the face she made, shaking his head softly.
He’d met some very refreshing people in this place and it soothed his soul to see such. His head tilted to the side a degree as he listened to her with a smile. “Oh, that must be very nice to live on a space ship.” His smile softened a little bit, and he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. “I’m sure Ein will find a way to you, in time.” He gave her a wink, and dropped his hand from her tiny shoulder. He smiled again as she started talking, “Bounties? Well, that sounds like fun.” He watched her, chuckling softly. “And you being hungry just won’t do. Why don’t we go to the kitchen and get you something to eat?”
His brows shot up at her name, “Wow.” He murmured, shaking his head and then laughed at his newest nickname. “Alright, Ed is what I shall call you then.” He nodded, standing and dusted his hands off. “Let’s go get you something to eat so your stomach doesn’t rumble anymore.” He started walking towards the mansion slowly so that Ed could keep up with his long strides. “How long have you been on the Bebop, Ed?” He asked, raising a brow as he looked down over at her.
