Ash smiled softly back at her, "An airship? Interesting." He chuckled softly, and lifted a shoulder. "Don't worry, we all forget some things at times." He listened as she spoke, they sounded almost like ostriches, or emus to him, well except for the coloring of course. "We have birds that are similar in my world. But I highly doubt they'd be tamable enough to ride." He shook his head, "One is called an ostrich, it's black and white. The other one, is an emu, they are brown and black and smaller birds than ostriches are."
He canted his head to the side, "My world?" He smiled fondly as he thought back on Earth. "Well, I'm from a place called Earth, and I don't really ever call once place home. We have seven continents on our planet; North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica." He thought for a moment on how to explain things. "Antarctica is nothing but ice and snow. We have teams of people though that do go there to study though, but they're smart enough to not die. Well most of the time." He lifted a shoulder and continued on. "Australia is a small continent, comprised of six states and two main territories. It's mostly desert, but there are some temperate climates there as well."
He smiled, "Asia is the largest continent comprised of sixty two countries. The climates there vary from desert to temperate to tundra. It's a very diverse place, and the most populated of our continents. Europe has sixty four countries, most of them smaller in comparison to those of Asia. This is the continent that I was born on, long ago before they'd explored the others. It varies in climate as well, but it's mostly temperate with lots of rain." He remembered the rain, he remembered it well. "Then there is Africa, nothing but desert. It's inhabited though, and people who live there seem to like it. Although the continent is plagued by civil war constantly." He shook his head, a sad smile upon his features.
"South America is made up of fifteen territories, Brazil being the largest. It's mostly rain forest there, but little by little the people are taking over the land. Which is sad, honestly." He paused for a moment, "Then there is North America, comprised of the United States of America, Mexico and Canada. Canada is located at the most northern part of the country, and the USA is located right below it and follows down to Mexico which borders South America. North America is large, not as big as Asia or Africa though in landmass. I personally spend a lot of time in the USA, down in a city called New Orleans in the state of Louisiana. But North America has the most diverse climates, and geography than any of the other continents." He nodded his head, and then thought for a moment.
"I could always just show you these places. Well, still pictures at least in your mind if you'd so wish it. I promise that it won't hurt or that I'll pry into your mind." He watched her carefully for a moment, wondering if she'd take up the offer to see his home.
