“No,” he said, taking another swig from the brandy. “I had to depart her. Well, actually, I had reprogramme her memory.” He looked down at the brandy. “She had potential. . .” A beat, the Doctor played with his drink. “She was good,” he had a sad smile. “She’s back on Earth with her grandfather and mum. Her grandfather was a character. You would like him. Did you know he kept a great secret of his granddaughter traveling with me,” he had a huge grin. “Her mother didn’t know. That’s what I love about humans. Loyal in the bloodlines, well,” he shrugged his shoulders and cocked a little to the left shoulder, “They where a Noble family! And a noble honour to have Donna as a companion!”
His dark brown eyes had looked at Rose. He had seen her not looking happy when he had mentioned Rose when this conversation had started. “I don’t understand the lot of you?” He sat down on chair near at a table.
Drinking down the brandy, “Well, there’s that little warm fuzzy feeling,” he said winking at her. “That didn’t take long,” he looked at the brandy. “I wonder what proof this is at. Time Lord proof! Ha! That was funny! I am brilliant!”
