Arwen's brows lifted. "But what of goodwill toward the other races? The dwarves and hobbits?"
She smiled as Rose opened the present. Her own hands had gone still as she found a box with her own name written on a tag. The paper bore a design of leaves which reminded her of Lorien but she wasn't sure it was wise to accept gifts when the giver would not reveal themselves. Sauron had brought gifts once too, and it had cost Middle-Earth dearly.
She waited to see what Rose's reaction would be and glanced over the girl's shoulder at the picture. "They are your family?" she asked.
