Legolas had come to live with the fact that he was not going to see until the gods stopped playing this cruel trick upon him. If he ever got his hands on these beings he would surely kill them. It was ridiculous to make beings not able to rely on the basic senses granted to them by the gods! Why take such a gift away? A small amount of anger boiled within his breast, as he just could not fathom not ever seeing again.
He would see again.
They could not keep him like this. He was far to valuable to be kept blind. His sight was far too valuable to be kept hidden from him. There were moments today where his sight did come and go. His sight would be more than it used to be, then less, never the same. Another game of the gods he would imagine.
Sighing, Legolas kept a hand on the desk. He could feel the shift in the mansion, someone was coming. He shook his head sadly. Hoping that this being would not meet the same fate as the rest in the mansion. He thought that they would not, that they would be themselves upon entering and staying, until the next joke of the gods came around to present itself.
Shifting slowly he stood as he heard something in the fountain. Looking in the general direction he gave a small smile and held one hand out. "Welcome to the mansion. I am Legolas Thranduilion." He paused for a moment as there were...other things fluttering about? He could have swore that he heard some kind of insect. Perhaps the fairies had come back from a few days ago to help these unfortunate souls out that had lost a sense. Or hinder them more in the case of evil fairies.
"You have been pulled here by the gods." Legolas continued, "There is nothing that we can do yet to get out. Individuals are studying upon how to get out." He gave another small smile. "You will have a room, and a map." He ran his hand over the desk, feeling the key. He held it in one hand as the other slid to the drawer with the maps to pull one out for the newcomer.
