Ash lifted a shoulder, “Not really, but they are living beings. I suppose my old habit of protecting is one that will never die.” He watched the fairies around him, well actually they were behind him, hiding from the one in front of him. He couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
His brow rose over the rim of his sunglasses as the other was quiet for a moment, and studied him. Ash was used to that sort of thing. He inclined his head to the other, folding his arms over his chest. “I am sorry for that then. You aren’t the only one here who others would not do well without. I’m sure, that he will find his way here in time. Best to be patient, Eclipse.” He lifted a shoulder, “You do not have to call me Lord. I am no such thing. Call me Acheron or Ash if you like.” Ash really didn’t like titles. They made things far more complicated than they really were. At least that’s how he felt.
Unfolding his arms from their position he picked up Eclipse’s key and map, placing them in his outstretched hand. He nodded his head, “If they aren’t paying dearly already, but if I find a way out of here they will pay for their…game.” He snorted, and nodded his head. “Yes, there are humans here and lots of other beings as well. There is one rule that all must abide by here in the mansion: no killing.” He lifted a shoulder, and then proceeded to speak once again.
“Everything is listed on the map. Who is here already, what room they are in, and so on. Would you care for a tour, Eclipse?” His brow rose again over the rim of his sunglasses, arms folding back over his chest as he waited on an answer from the other. He would give him a tour, but only if he asked for it. Most of the people, beings in this place did not wish for Acheron to stay around. He understood that, and it was fine with him. He liked his distance from others.
