The corner of Ash’s lips pulled up into a half-smile, “Yes, I’m sure of that. There already seem to be so many interesting people in the mansion at the moment.” He’d glanced over the map that morning, noticing the additions already. He let out a soft breath, focusing on the game for a moment and shook his head. “If we are any signs of what is to come, I worry that maybe some people I do not wish to be here that I personally know will come through. There are many from my world that I’d rather not see.” He frowned slightly and shook his head again, causing a disturbance of the good fairies on his shoulders.
He chuckled softly, “Yes, you could hope for that and pray that she doesn’t want to barbeque you. Although, I highly doubt she would since I enjoy your company.” He lifted a shoulder, rolling his eyes with another breath as the fairies fluttered about and then settled once again. He nodded his head, “Yes, I would. I’d like to show you and Kakashi where I come from. As I would like to see your worlds.” He raised a brow and slid his gaze back over to the elf. “Don’t think I’m getting too friendly. I’m merely curious.” He smirked over at the other before he looked back at the game.
He nodded his head, pulling off another combination and smiled lightly. His brows furrowed for a moment and he shook his head. “No, there isn’t. There are games like that, however, but this is not one of them.” He lifted a shoulder, “The only growth you see is through their stories, but even then it is not the sort of growth you speak of. It is more emotional growth than actual physical growth.”
Ash wasn’t trying any such thing. He was just wondering if Legolas felt the same way that he had, but apparently he hadn’t. He sighed, “It’s possible. I just, can’t put my finger on it, but they feel familiar to me. Things that they’ve said, done, or even their looks put me in mind of something that I’ve seen, or heard.” And there was a lot that he’d seen, and heard of in his long life.
