Acheron was a being of many emotions that may race upon him at any given moment, and be gone in the next. Legolas was finding this, getting to know this well. Acheron was a lot like Gandalf in that aspect. Emotional tides flowed with the thoughts and words of others. Elves tried to keep such things behind a facade of neutrality, sometimes that just did not work out for them though. Very few elves could keep their passions at bay. "I am glad that you are here then. There are many here that seem old, but have the hearts and minds of children." Legolas smiled over at the other, "Such as your Simi."
His brows drew together at the though of having horns. "I do not believe I would like having horns, Acheron." Again the feeling of Acheron's emotions was breathtaking. One instant it was love, the next the bitter love of not knowing, then the next was a deep sadness that Legolas thought only elves could feel. "If your Katra comes, then I will miss these times with you and wonder what the fate of us that were left here would be." He gave a small smile, "As I am sure you would wonder as well. At least until this hell, as you call it, will be paid in full." Legolas wondered where humans and those that stayed around them got these sayings. They were confusing, yet amusing at the same time. Legolas could only hope to learn more and take them back to tell Gimli and Aragorn of such sayings. Positive that at least those two would find the same amusement and confusion as he.
"I see. You have not gotten careless and you still have...your touch." Shaking his head slightly Legolas really wondered if he should keep a pencil and book around to write all these down. It seemed as if there were too many for him to remember already.
Legolas raised a brow as Acheron mentioned that Legolas was beating him. Looking up at the bars that indicated the life of the beings on the screen he shook his head. "You allowed those combinations to hit, you should be more aware." He smirked, teasing the other, goading him. He found it amusing to goad others, especially ones like Acheron and Gimli, they were far too easy to affect. "There is a saying among men, beginner's fortune." Legolas' brows drew together again as Acheron's being pulled off a combination. "I do believe you pressed the series of buttons I did at one time, yet my character did not react the way yours did. Are all characters from that screen different in such a way?" The possibilities of the different battling styles in such a game was astounding if that was true.
