That's probably true, I was kind of speed reading at the time ^_^ Either way it's kind of a poor transition.
It can be a fine line to walk and I can understand why she didn't go to work if she was feeling/being threatened by other co-workers. I do think it is possible that her office didn't take her concerns seriously enough and this left her feeling unsafe in her work environment. It's also possible that she had no reason to feel unsafe. I think the employers could have handled the situation better on their end, but I think that the woman should probably have handled things better on her end too.
