I was reading through some stuff I wrote on lj a couple years ago when I found this entry and got bunnied. What if an adult character from a tv show/movie were to help transform a big box (like a refrigerator box for example) into a "castle" or whatever the kid wanted and got drawn into the game of make believe. I'd love to see this with Horatio and Madison, but you can choose whatever characters you want. |

CSI: Miami
Horatio is known to offer support to the families of the victims, sometimes giving his number and saying they could call him to talk if they want. What if someone took him up on the offer and then became obsessed?
NCIS
Usually, Tony is the trouble magnet. But what if, just once, it was Gibbs that got in over his head?
*tries to chase down another bunny* Damn they're fast. *catches one* Hmm... Nope, that one's for Bev. *puts bunny in cage and grabs another* Ahh, here we go.
This one's a crossover bunny.
NCIS/Highlander
This one should focus mainly on NCIS characters. HL characters can appear if you want but it should be kept to cameo appearances if any. This bunny thinks that Tony is Immortal. He's found some way of slowing his Immortal healing in order to blend in (maybe an herbal mixture that was forgotten over time?). His background and age is up to you but he should be at least a few centuries old because he's about to take on a student. Namely Gibbs. Oh boy.
*sees bunny out of the corner of her eye and manages to catch it*
Another crossover bunny! And he has friends... Uh oh.
CSI:Miami/various books
Book bunny #1;
"The Dragon's of the Cuyahoga" by S Andrew Swann. A very interesting premise, if you get a chance to read it. The main point of the universe it's set in is that a portal has been opened between our world and a world where magic exists and that magic has leaked through (along with some unusual residents). Electronics are useless without protection and redundancy. The magic leak in the book only covers Cleveland, but move it to Miami and you've got this bunny. How would all the changes caused by this portal affect law enforcement?
Book bunny #2;
Impatient little bugger, I'm not even finished reading "Greywalker" by Kat Richardson. Basically the main character dies, but EMTs get her back a couple minutes later. The catch is, she now has a permanent connection to the Grey, the crossover zone between here and hereafter where things that go bump in the night exist. The bunny insists that Speed is alive but that he is now a Greywalker and has to learn to control and use this new talent before it drives him nuts, or gets him killed permanently.
Any takers for any of these little cuties? I'd be willing to coauthor the book bunnies, if it gets them written. Just let me finish reading Greywalker first, it shouldn't take long. And believe me there are more bunnies.
Edit: Finished reading Greywalker, it's really worth a look if you have a chance. |

Seeing as the Trust and it's agents aren't exactly trustworthy, it wouldn't be a big suprise if one of them was killed in Miami while transporting an Ancient artifact. The Miami team investigates, not having any clue what the artifact is but knowing it's somehow tied to the case. Sometime during the investigation, Speed picks up the artifact and it turns out he has the ATA gene and it activates. It's not a weapon, but other than that you can choose what it does. The team, at this point, still don't know what they are dealing with and consult with a locally based anthropologist or archaeologist trying to figure out what the thing is. S/he doesn't know but in trying to figure it out, she either contacts someone in the archeology department at the SGC (not necessarily Daniel) or her research raises red flags and the SGC decides to discretely find out what's up, later choosing to intervene.
I'd prefer if this were written with SG-1 as it was before Jack was promoted to Brigadier General. Also, no info dumps between SG-1 and the Miami team. Classified means classified and SG-1 is going to try to keep as much under wraps as possible. Not that that will stop the Miami team from trying to figure it out, unofficially of course. This should focus a bit more on the Miami team than SG-1 and whatever they figure out they ultimately keep to themselves. |

Base Fandom: CSI, CSI:M, CSI:NY, NCIS (you choose which one)
To be mixed with: Dungeon's and Dragon's. (The game, Not the movie version.)
The way I see it there are two possible ways to do this. A) have the team of choice play D&D, or B) bring elements of D&D into 'our' world or have them go there.
If you use the former, who is the DM? What race and class of character does each person choose and if it's not an obvious choice (not all of them should be) then why did they choose to create that character?
For the later, here is one possibility, but feel free to do something else if you are so inspired. Someone from a D&D type world manages to open a portal to our world and starts causing trouble. The team of choice has to find a way to stop them. This may or may not involve going through the portal to the other world, but it would be interesting to see. As for a reason for this, it could be something needed to close the portal is on the other side, it could be the bad guys kidnap someone and they need to be rescued, if you want to do it have fun with it!
Random bunny; maybe one of the characters finds out that once they are in the presence of magic (ie. near the portal or on the other side) they can actually use magic inately, although they probably don't have much control.
I will ask that you try not to make this totally AU and put the characters in the D&D world and have that be what's normal for them. Other than that, let the bunnies play! |

We know H spend some of his childhood in New York with his mom. What if his mom either remarried or got a boyfriend and became pregnant. Now when the baby is about 2 years old H's father returns and has a fight with mom. H makes sure that the baby is safe at the baby's fathers home and goes back to help his mother but gets caught up in the fight wich results into both his mom's and fathers death. H getting blamed and being shipped to miami to his aunts house where Ray is also at. The baby being Speed, but his last name was changed when his father remarried another woman. Some stuff about her dad wanting to continue the family name or such. |

H knew Danny when he was younger and on the edge of the Tanglewood boys. Danny knew H was a NY det. and developed a crush. Years later they meet either in Miami or back in NY. Would love to see Danny run to H after all the Tanglewood crap happens the first time esp. since Mac blew him off. |

They had had a very boring day, only interrupted by the teasing of each other, trying to make the other as uncomfortable as possible since they actually made sure that their private life together was divided from work.
But once they arrived at home, their lips were locked already before they even made it to the door. Managing the difficult task of opening the door without breaking their frantic kissing they stumbled into the house.
Tim closed the door again with his feet and pushed Horatio against said door. All the while hands were going up and down, wanting to touch the other body everywhere at once. Bumping his own erection against Horatio's, Tim suddenly heard a noise and jumped back.
Turning around to face the walk through to his living room he was faced with his mother. He knew that he knew that coughing from somewhere.
"What are you doing here?" asked Tim breathlessly and a bit unnerved.
The woman's face turned sour when she responded, "You will not speak to me in that tone and we're here because you don't visit us."
"Mum, I told you that I'm working a lot. I just came from work and have to be there tomorrow again. In fact I'm working all days for the rest of the year with the exception of the 25th. Christmas time is one of the busiest," answered Tim, annoyed at having to restart the old argument while being kept away from his stress relief.
He was afraid to burst open some days, days were all he wanted was to sleep for the rest of his life. Luckily he had Horatio to keep him distracted these days. Horatio – his parents didn't even know about him.
This was just giving him a whole new headache. Taking a deep breath, Tim said, "What I meant is primarily, how you got into the house. It's usually locked and I can't remember having a hidden key."
'Well not anymore since H's got it,' added Tim in the privacy of his thoughts.
In the meantime they had managed to get to his living room where he saw his father sitting on his couch.
"One of your neighbors was nice enough to let us in," answered his mother and Tim couldn't help, but berate himself for forgetting about his neighbor whom he occasionally helped when he was at home.
His father added, "It's good to know that you are still doing at least something we taught you to do, although you never finished your medical education for becoming a CSI. You could have done something better for yourself."
That was something Tim didn't want his lover to hear. The old disagreements with his parents, because they wouldn't understand that he was happy here in Miami and the Lab. Sighing, he gave into the fact that his parents were here and he couldn't do anything about it. Now he would have to decide what to do about Horatio and how his presence could be explained best. He didn't want to lie and downplay the role the other man played in his life, but he couldn't tell his parents either. They wouldn't understand and just start another argument. Another man wouldn't give them grandchildren after all. |

Fandoms: CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:NY, NCISPairing: Nick/Speed/Danny/Tony (yes, it is a foursome)Summary: Nick, Speed, Danny and Tony are more alike than anyone realizes. When hit with trouble at the same time (which trouble is up to you), they run. Nick runs eastwards, Speed, Tony and Danny run westwards. Coincidence or fate has them meet up in the middle. (How and where is up to you) Tony knows Nick through a convention. Nick knows Speed through Catherine and Warrick. Speed knows Danny through his phone calls while working on that case together (don't remember the name of the episode, but I'm sure you know which one I mean). So they end up in one hotel room, eating take away and talking about everything. Everything goes from there: a comforting embrace turns into a small kiss and the kiss into more… This is obviously a little smutty bunny … Anyway, the bunny thinks they should start out as a one time thing and merge into a foursome relationship, meeting up/visiting each other. They have two rules in their relationship: 1. not threesomes (so if two of them meet up ok, all four of them ok, but not three together and leaving one out) 2. no rules but rule #1. Oh, and the supervisors aren't happy about the foursome…. |

A friend suggested this one a few weeks ago. She loves the show Dexter on Showtime. Dexter being a blood splatter expert during the day and a viligante serial killer during the night. She thought it would be interesting if I wrote a crossover between Miami and Dexter, but since I've never seen Dexter and that I've got enuff bunnies I told her that I would pass it onto someone else.
He's cute, cuddly and is not related to Bob5 in any fashion, I swear. |
