That doesn't change the fact I still believe in Jesus Christ and still honor and worship Him as my Lord and Savior. Many would be willing to sit in judgement of me and point fingers. They weren't there in the darkest nights, and they weren't there when I found the road home.
*nodsnodsnods* WORD UP, IN THE WORD! ;) A while ago I wrote a long post on what it meant to be a gay Christian, for me personally, and when I find it I'll post it here.
my path took me to Pentecostal and Dominionist-type Churches, where slowly, every ounce of self-worth and self-love was destroyed, to the point where I was ready to walk away from God.
I'm very sorry you went through that. Nothing like a good Catholic upbringing to keep you away from those guys, no matter where life takes you. And nothing's easier than throwing the Catholic Church off -- they'll show you the door with a pitchfork in your behind. *grin*
Also, if anyone's interested, I have this neat icon I made a while ago. It's free for use.
