when: 9/25/16, evening
What: Hanging out.

Aden sighed as he rubbed at his face and eyes, coming out of the station and moving towards his car. He was dressed in what had become an all-too obvious, and typical uniform for him. Black suit jacket, white shirt, black tie, and a long black over coat worn over that as well. He had his weapon's holster around his shoulders, hanging loose beneath the overcoat and suit jacket, and his dress shoes clipped the cement beneath him as he walked. He hated this fucking outfit, it didn't do much in the way of giving him comfort when in the field, but it was necessary for the professionalism and for the hours long meetings he had with people on a daily basis around here. Like today for example.

As he neared his patrol car, he pulled out his keys flipping them in hand and moved for the car itself, slipping into the driver's seat, and leaning back as he closed his eyes and let out a deep breath, resting his head back against the chair. He needed a stiff drink and a long smoke after this day. He was tired, frustrated, and needed to relax. He rolled his shoulders, and just let out a breath, keeping his eyes closed a moment while he simply took in the relaxation for a moment longer.

Working for the old used bookstore wasn't a bad gig. She loved the place and the little old lady that owned it wouldn't have a chance to run the place without Trouble. That meant though that she was often there from open to close. Not too terrible, 9 to 8 most days. Then it was back to Aden's place where she often made dinner, ate it and left a plate for him for when he got home most of the time. The man was almost always home late due to work and she wanted to at least make sure he was fed since she was crashing here most days by now.

But she also wanted to kind of surprise him. So she'd managed to convince Ms. Higgens to close up the shop on her own, went home to whip up some chicken sandwiches for the two of them, and headed out wearing something that was a bit more conservative for her. the black skirt and peasant top left her at least made her look respectable enough that the rest of the police weren't going to assume that she was in there to be booked... again.

But the girl didn't even need to worry about that as she caught sight of the familiar dark haired male climbing into the car, already looking exhausted. She silently stepped towards the car and grinned as she lightly tapped on the window. "Detective, I was wondering if you could help me for a minute. I was hoping that I could find someone to share dinner with me tonight."

Aden was rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes when he heard the wrapping on his window and just assumed it was the Chief or someone annoying him with another unimportant fucking memo. He looked over at her, "I'm going ho--" Then blinked when he saw it was Trouble, and immediately smirked as he rolled his window down.

He turned up his brow and then laughed looking up at her and shrugged, "Well I think I could be most obliged. Question is, where did you want to go, Miss?" He winked with a grin and unlocked his car so she could get in, assuming, of course, that she did want to get in.

The reaction she first got from Aden earned a soft laugh from the werewolf. He hadn't been expecting her and he looked honestly surprised. She leaned down when he rolled the window down and stole a kiss before moving away and walking around the car to slip into the passenger side.

"That's a good question. I technically made food for you since I thought you were going to be stuck with another late night." She said with a motion to the bag in her hand. "But who knows if you really want to eat my shitty cooking when there's a chance at better food out there. Is there anywhere you'd like? Otherwise there's a dark little italian place that has the best chicken parm in the state."

Aden returned the kiss and waited for her to slip inside, then raised a brow, "While that sounds nice, how about we find a place close by, park the car, and just eat your cooking and spend some time absolutely close, private, and alone?"

Aden didn't want to go anywhere, he just wanted to spend some time with her, and he found that he rather liked that idea. Grinning as he looked at her, and started the car, "I know a little parking garage nearby, it's usually empty up top, and you get a pretty decent view of the city. It's not the classiest of dates, but I think we could enjoy it?"

"Hey, if you want to eat my food then I am completely fine with that too." She smiled up at him and nodded. She knew what private and alone usually led to with them and she was kind of eager. Late work nights for him often meant less sex for them and at the moment, he was the only one she wanted to be with.

"Sounds good. And any date with you is a good date." She said with a warmer smile and a wink. "So, I'm surprised you managed to escape work at a normal time today."
