Meri would be grateful at the fact that she would not be questioned in relation to the pack. She imagined she would have to (at least once or twice) step in to be sure Caleb was not being seriously mistreated- the omega of a group would have some scapegoating, but she also knew she had to be sure he was not hurt by it. His role would change a little, she imagined, but she had always and would always look out for him. He was her brother, after all.
Adam's grin was contagious and she nuzzled him again playfully, mischief glinting in her eyes as she looked at him. The fact that he was showing an interest in a different sort of play now absolutely caught her attention, and she let out a soft growl as his hand travelled up her leg. This was all strange and new, but not in a bad way at all. It was new in a way that she wanted more of.
"I do have some free time..." Her eyes moved to his face and she grinned at him, much more interested in him now than the papers she had been making notes on. "Seems like between figuring out costs and decor for the salon I have... about enough time to help you destroy the last of the furniture. I mean, we obviously have to make sure everything's new and safe for when there are pups, right?"
