Meri smiled slightly at that. Respect she understood. She had managed to keep it when she was hunting on her own. She was fortunate in that, she knew, since it had been what had kept the coyote pack that had honed in on her area from killing Cale, she was sure. She was scary enough to manage herself and her brother. Now she had Adam too and that added to it all.
She nudged at his face slightly with her own, half nuzzling him. It was good having a mate, better than she had expected it to be, and her own nature often took control - she was human, sure, but not fully, and it was obvious in many of her mannerisms. Possibly not as much as her brother, but she knew she occasionally confused people with behavior when she lost track of instinct vs proper socialization in humans.
"I have that on here too." She tapped the paper lightly and smiled. "I'm trying to keep track of everything so that I don't forget anything."
