Drifter ([info]chaosforcash) wrote in [info]outofshadowsrpg,
When the song ended the people began to applaud, but Drifter just set the guitar back down and started to head back to the booth. He paused again to whisper something the musician he had spoken to before, and after both seemed to smile and laugh the vampire made his way back to the booth. Jeremiah paused one more time to give his order to the waitress who had brought over his glass of whiskey, and at last he slid in to sit beside Kaisa. "So what did ya decide on, far as food goes, darling?"

A single sip was taken of the golden liquid, and a tiny sigh of contentment was heard at last. The need to perform had been an itch he needed to scratch, and with that sated his focus seemed to be back to her fully.

As he waited to hear what she had selected Drifter slowly pulled out his pack of smokes, and lit up right then and there. Oh humans had tended to view smoking indoors as a taboo these days, but all it took was a single look from the vampire to silence any possible protest before it began.
