Drifter ([info]chaosforcash) wrote in [info]outofshadowsrpg,
The vampire had left countless dead in his wake over the years, and the guilt over such bloodshed never bothered him in the least. He was what he was; an immortal creature of the night, who was sated and sustained by blood alone. Still as he watched her move closer and felt her thumb upon his lower lip Drifter couldn't resist the impulse to close his lips around her thumb. There were no fangs felt at all, only a brief flick of his tongue against it as he took a second to playfully suck on her digit.

When she softly spoke up Jeremiah let go and offered up a little smile. "No need to worry bout the bill, darling. Consider it my treat, like the rest of the evening." The man had no real need of cash anymore, not with the hundreds of song royalties that were still pouring money into his accounts. It paid to be a talented musician and composer...doubly so when one lived to be as old as he. Plus the wad of cash he had taken off his latest victim was certainly a nice haul; since the boy had apparently been here to buy his own books for the semester.

"May as well not go breaking your piggy bank, if'n ya don't have to, Mon chéri. Figure the schooling thing likely already costs a pretty penny these days." With a wink he nodded towards the checkout counter and slowly fell into step beside her once more.
