WHO:Rhi and Adam
WHAT: Chatting in his broken apartment
WHEN: Backdate : 8/20
WHERE broken apartment
RATING:Mid to high- sexual references.

Rhiannon figured it had been a few days and so checking in on Adam was in order. Sure, he was the alpha, but he was still a male so she had to make sure he was not blowing things up- she guessed. The smell though didn't hint at explosion. There was sweat and...ugh. That smell that she refused to identify in her mind because her brother was certainly not having sex, especially with the sister of the boy she had been flirting with. Nope. She was not smelling that at all.

She knocked on the door and then opened the door, wrinkling her nose slightly at the strength of the scent. And the broken everything. “Fucking hell Adam, did you like, set off some kind of sex bomb that just wrecked the place?”

A very naked, and still exhausted, Alpha slowly stirred from his blissful sleep when the sound of someone knocking reached his ears. Sadly for her Adam had crashed right there on the living room floor since the bed had been wrecked just like the rest of his furniture. So by the time he woke his baby sister found him just there in front of her, body covered in bite marks and claw marks...along with a single cupcake wrapper still stuck to his back. It took a minute for her words to even make sense but as the wolf got up off the floor he glanced around the place and offered up a slight shrug. "No, there was no sex bomb, Luna...I took Meri as my mate."

There was no look of shame on his face at all for his current lack of attire, though from the grumbling of his stomach it was clear that the Alpha must have been hungry. Instead of offering up further explanation Adam just slowly moved to the kitchen, pausing to step over the shattered coffee table and the bits of broken dishes. After carefully stepping through the debris he reached the still warm crock pot Meri had brought over. "Damn that smells good." Speaking to himself more then to her the Alpha removed the lid and set it aside before he suddenly grabbed the whole crock pot and lifted it up to his lips. Even as a little bit of broth spilled down his chest the wolf greedily started to devoured the beef stew, pausing only long enough to take a much needed breath before gulping down and chewing another large mouthful.

Rhiannon blinked at him, a number of ideas on how to respond to this coming to her head and being discarded. She ran a hand through her hair and shook her head slightly, frowning. "The smell may have tipped me off, actually." She moved further into the apartment, picking up and then dropping various partially broken items, doing her level best to not look at her older brother wearing nothing but a cupcake wrapper. Obviously she saw him undressed when they were in wolf form, but it was a bit strange to see him so when they were both human. She had not expected that really.

"At least you snagged a woman who can cook. All those stupid diets out there nowadays, if you hadn't found someone like us you'd be out of luck." She picked her way carefully to a chair that didn't seem as broken as the others and perched on the edge of it, shaking her head. "So her brother's pack too, right? Been gaming with him a bit. Sweet kid." Because she could slowly introduce the idea, one step at a time. Probably weeks or more apart. "And who do you want me to call for refurnishing this place?"

The wolf within was so close to the surface; exhaustion and the ravenous hunger almost bringing out the primal side of him. A lesser wolf would have likely shifted already, desperate to feed and rest away from others. Yet the Alpha's control over himself was iron clad...though he had already consumed nearly half the stew before his eyes no longer were bright gold. Again it took him a moment to actually make sense of what his sister said, but her remark about the smell was just met with a half smile that was hidden behind that crock pot.

Rhi wasn't wrong about Meri's ability to cook, and while the Alpha had hastily eaten most of the stew he knew that it was delicious. At last he set the now empty pot down and let out a sigh, those eyes of his glancing around for something else to eat. In his hurry the wolf accidentally pulled just a smidge too hard on the fridge door, and after ripping it clean off a single word escaped his lips. "Fuck." No longer caring he just let the door fall to the floor amid the rest of the mess, and after fishing through the fridge he returned to the living room holding on to a large carton of left over spare ribs.

"She is a keeper, and now outranks all in the pack except for myself. Best to remember that when addressing her in public, Luna...I know the pack will fall in line but it will likely take a bit for the wolves to accept a coyote as the Alpha's mate. As far as her brother goes..." Adam paused to consider it for a moment, his gaze pulling from her back to the container in his hand. The lame coyote boy would be protected, but he knew that the older wolves would still take issue to having him in the pack. "He's pack too. Feel free to remind anyone that if they wish to challenge that, they are always welcome to come see me."

Rhiannon smiled as she watched her brother, shaking her head faintly. Clearly the other woman had gone home, probably to eat and sleep in the same way. Possibly not in the same order, if the alpha's hunger was any cue though. She was not all that worried. Things wouldn't change much, she was not an alpha and wouldn't be for quite some time, if ever. She noted the smile from her seat, absently tucking her feet up under her as she observed.

"You broke something," She murmured, a hint of teasing in her eyes as she watched him. The whole place would need repairing, and it looked like new counters and fridge would be in order as well. She shook her head again slightly and pulled out her phone. "Should I order you something more?" Because he was clearly starving.

A faint nod. She again could tell from the scent, though she knew he had to say it too. "They can see me first if they have a problem with it," She said softly. "I don't want to lose my gaming partner." She flicked back her hair and offered a small smile. "Like I said, he's a sweet kid. You worry about your mate and enjoying yourself. It's vacation time still, right?"

The place was an absolute mess to be sure, and the wolf just honestly didn't even care. Weres and property damage tended to go hand in hand, and this wasn't the first time that he had accidentally broken something. Okay, so this was the first time the Alpha broke a lot of somethings while mating, but still...it wasn't as if he was worried about the money it would take to refurbish the place. Even though she murmured the words his keen ears picked up what Rhi said with ease, and with a soft chuckle the wolf spoke up softly too. "Indeed. Though I must admit I'm surprised that the chair you are sitting in is still functional...I would have thought it'd buckle under the strain of what Meri and I did on it too."

A teasing wink was offered up, along with Adam pausing to stick out his tongue at her before turning his attention to the ribs. He was already a mess so getting a bit of bbq sauce on his hands and lips didn't register at all. He had torn through a half dozen ribs or so before he finally came up for air at last, and with the slight shake of his head the Alpha spoke again. "No need to order anything right now these should suffice for the time. As far as this place goes..." He went silent again, pondering just what to do but at last the wolf nodded to himself. "I think, given the change of circumstances, we shall be seeking a larger residence to purchase around town. Perhaps a large enough place to house any visiting pack, and a view...and some acres of forested area would be ideal as well."

His smile faded for a moment when she spoke of the boy, yet as stoic as he looked the Alpha's emotions were unreadable just then. He figured something was going on between his baby sis and that boy, but in truth he wasn't sure just how serious things had gotten yet. The thought of the two of them together irked the wolf to no end; but it had to do with the boy's aliment and not his species. After all a lame pack member was tough enough to abide; and if it weren't for Meri...well Adam wasn't sure what he'd do. However having the boy in he pack was one thing but having the lame pup and his sister couple...that didn't sit well at all. "I wasn't aware that you two had grown so close, Luna."

Rhi made a face at his words, though she didn't move. There really wasn't anyplace else to sit in the place at this point. She would have normally perched on a counter or table or something but most of them seemed to be broken. That meant the chair she had claimed was a last resort in some ways. She adjusted slightly though, wrinkling her nose at him playfully. "Did you miss any spots? Maybe that corner over there?"

The mention of a new place was interesting. She currently lived on her own, sort of, in a much less ornate apartment than Adam's. Not because of a lack of money, just simply because she didn't need much outside of food and her tech setup to be happy. Adam was more interested in the comforts a home could offer, but he was older, and the alpha, so he had a reputation to uphold.

"He's a friend. I don't know a lot of people here." Rhi shrugged one shoulder absently. She had flirted and been shot down, so she didn't really expect much more than that if she was honest. "He's not too bad at gaming, which is important. Finding a challenge given my level of skill is difficult." She shifted in her chair. She was being honest about it, since this was her brother. She would not admit that the other man had turned her down, that was a bit of shame on her she knew. "There are other wolves too, you know... I've smelled them. Should warn them from your girl I think?"

"The bathroom was the only place we didn't manage to reach, yet in truth I think the initial plan was to wrap up in there...perhaps have one last go in the shower and take the opportunity to get washed up as well. Sadly my legs gave out after the third hour or so, and the living room floor seemed as good a spot as any to crash." His words held no bragging tone at all, if anything the wolf just spoke plainly and honestly about what had transpired here...after all he had never before lied to the pack, and had no desire to start doing so now. With the last of the ribs devoured he just let the carton fall to the floor, no longer caring about the state of the apartment.

Finding a new, and larger, place was the pragmatic call since it was only a matter of time before more of their pack came into tow. Well that, and sooner or later there'd likely be a litter of pups to tend to as well. Plus while the apartment was large by most standards it still felt so cramped to the Alpha who was used to big open spaces. "Of course you shall have a place at the new residence, should you wish it Luna."

A single nod of his head was the Alpha's only reply to her words, and while he made a mental note to review things later...after he had a chance to get a proper rest, and to get clean up too...Adam decided to let the matter drop for now. "Very well then. As far as the other local wolves, Rhi bear my scent, and my mark for now. So I am not truly worried about someone attempting something foolish. Still should the chance present itself feel free to offer them notice that both coyotes are under the Locke Pack's banner and protection."
