WHO: Aden and Molly WHAT: Pre-Game before the bar WHEN: 8/19/2016 WHERE Molly's place and then beyond? RATING: Considering their conversation we're going to say TBD with a preemptive 'high'.
Aden pulled his black challenger to a stop in front of the home of Molly's, letting out a breath as he hit send on his phone letting her know he was down front. He then leaned back in his seat to wait for her to arrive, and simply closed his eyes a second. He was tired, but he was tired most days. They were long, the nights longer, and they were painstaking. Today he'd been to a double homicide and a vandalism of a local gas station that stunk of hate crime. He could already see that the first case was going to take him a long time, no breaks at all in the initial investigation.
The vandalism he felt was about to be a string of rising, similar crimes in the near future. In response to the laws Philly was passing. It was not going to be easy, that much he knew, and he was okay with that. It was his job. Still, it grated on him and he was looking forward to a solid few drinks and some distractions in the name of Molly, a woman he'd been around and friends with for some time. She was good at distractions after all, and he didn't necessarily mean the dancing she provided--though that was quite good as well.
The music he was playing was some old dad rock, turned down, and for the first time in months it seemed, his radio to the station was turned off. If it was an emergency, they could get him by his cell phone.
Dressed in black long coat over an obviously over-worn suit, no tie, with the top buttons undone; he was ready to take the night off from work and simply enjoy himself a bit more.
