Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
WHO: Aden and Molly
WHAT: Pre-Game before the bar
WHEN: 8/19/2016
WHERE Molly's place and then beyond?
RATING: Considering their conversation we're going to say TBD with a preemptive 'high'.

Aden pulled his black challenger to a stop in front of the home of Molly's, letting out a breath as he hit send on his phone letting her know he was down front. He then leaned back in his seat to wait for her to arrive, and simply closed his eyes a second. He was tired, but he was tired most days. They were long, the nights longer, and they were painstaking. Today he'd been to a double homicide and a vandalism of a local gas station that stunk of hate crime. He could already see that the first case was going to take him a long time, no breaks at all in the initial investigation.

The vandalism he felt was about to be a string of rising, similar crimes in the near future. In response to the laws Philly was passing. It was not going to be easy, that much he knew, and he was okay with that. It was his job. Still, it grated on him and he was looking forward to a solid few drinks and some distractions in the name of Molly, a woman he'd been around and friends with for some time. She was good at distractions after all, and he didn't necessarily mean the dancing she provided--though that was quite good as well.

The music he was playing was some old dad rock, turned down, and for the first time in months it seemed, his radio to the station was turned off. If it was an emergency, they could get him by his cell phone.

Dressed in black long coat over an obviously over-worn suit, no tie, with the top buttons undone; he was ready to take the night off from work and simply enjoy himself a bit more.

Molly took her time getting ready, knowing it would take a little bit for Aden to get there to pick her up. She was off the main roads, tucked away on one of the smaller side streets - though close enough that she could easily walk to most places if she desired. It wasn't quiet by any means, no more than anyplace in the city was, but then Molly was accustomed to noise, both in her home and in her head.

When her phone chimed she glanced at it before slinging her bag over her shoulder and slipping her feet into her shoes - no sense in inviting discomfort before she had to. She glanced in the mirror quickly and tousled her hair a tiny bit befor sliding her phone into her pocket. It was better to have it with her just in case she needed it. A double check of her bag showed her the two bottles she had put inside were still there and safe, and a tiny smirk curved her lips as she raced down the steps and out to the car.

The smirk grew as she entered by Aden's side, pulling one of the bottles out and offering it to him. "Gross brown liquor just for you. Burning, but higher proof than the well shit they sell at the bars." Because that was what she looked for. High alcohol content to get trashed faster.

Aden had to admit, Molly was beautiful. An absolute delight to see and she definitely caught his attention every time he saw her. The officer watched her walk towards the car and when she got in he laughed at her offer, reaching out to take said bottle, looking down at it, he set it in the back seat and offered her a wink, "I swear you're going to get me fired one of these days. You're terrible, but I like it."

He reached over and gave her thigh a squeeze then turned up and started back up the car, taking off down the road, "Where do you want to 'pre-game' as you put it? Bar, or ... where else do you people 'pre-game'?"

Aden laughed, then glanced over towards her, tilting his head to the side as he watched her, "You're looking good today. Not that you're never looking good, but it's a compliment none the less. And thanks for the liquor. What'd you bring yourself for your own fruity drinks?"

Aden was attractive too, honestly, and he seemed to understand her at least on some level. She was a bit wild and crazy, sure, but she had other parts to her that most people didn't seek out, mostly because they were buried under piles and piles of crazy. It seemed to amuse him though, and so she was glad for that. It gave her company. "I'll only get you fired if you drink it while you're driving." Because logic.

The thigh squeeze drew a smirk from her and she pointed. "Turn left here, then left again after three blocks. There's the park near the bar Harper is taking us to." Near enough anyway. They could walk there easily enough, and the park was a suitable place to pre-game.

"I figured go with something that at least covers some parts. Leave a bit to the imagination." She pulled out another bottle that claimed to be run from the label, though it had a pinkish tinge to it. "Rum, cranberry, pineapple juice. Mostly rum though."

Aden shook his head while he took the directions provided and kept driving. He shrugged, "Good point, no drinking or driving and we should be fine. Drinking in a park, that'll go over well too, definitely." He said with an incredulous look and a false smirk. He then turned back to the road ahead, making another left as he continued.

"You had me at Rum, and lost me at everything else. Drinking's meant to make you feel good, not taste good. I still appreciate your mostly rum though, a woman after a portion of my own heart. Truly... and so how loud is this bar going to be so I have ample time to prep myself for the onslaught of noise and badgering."

Brow raising while watched her, "And how have you been? Any new favorite stalkers?"

"Everyone does it. As long as the bottle is hidden you can't really get in trouble unless you start acting like an ass." Public drunkenness was technically an arrestable offense, but she rarely saw people locked up for it. Generally they got a warning to move on and were left to themselves after that.

"Why not both though?" A wicked grin and she shrugged one shoulder. "Just because something hurts doesn't mean it can't feel good too." Another shrug at his question and she rolled her eyes. "Probably pretty loud, with the music and all, but you should be safe from being pestered. Harper and I will make it clear that you're ours unless you want girls coming over..." That was up to him, and she wouldn't be bothered either way. As long as everyone was having fun she was happy.

She rolled her eyes at the next question and shook her head. "No, no more stalkers. I think they figured out to leave me alone after last time."

"Hurts so good? Is that your motto in all things?" He grinned, pulling to a stop near the park and pushed out of his car, "You know, had you told me we were going to be this close we probably could have walked. Would have allowed me to sober up later tonight." Pulling his long jacket over his shoulders, he shut the door behind him and moved around with her, after having snatched up his own bottle of whiskey. Clanking it against her purse, he then moved one arm around her shoulder.

"I'm not too worried about being pestered. If I'm going into a bar with two hot young ladies, getting drunk, I should probably be ready to get annoyed by a great deal of people. Though if you're both going to be doing the whole getting laid thing, do me a favor and make sure I don't see you with any frat types. I might actually have to get confrontational. I'd hate to do that."

He did smirk as he walked with her, raising a slow brow, "And no stalkers. Good. And last time wasn't that bad."

"You'll get to sober up, don't worry. Bars close at two, but I rarely end my days until four or five." She kept a pretty steady night shift, so there was not much purpose in going to bed early. She eased herself closer to him as his arm wrapped over her shoulder, her small frame fitting easily against his body as they walked.

If he wasn't worried about it, she would not be either. He could find a woman if he wanted, or if neither of them did perhaps they could go home together. She was close enough to the bar to walk if they wanted to, and being drunk at 2am was a common enough sight. "Sounds good to me. Frat types don't tend to be into girls like me most nights, and I think they're boring anyway."

No stalkers was a good thing for sure, and she opened her bottle, taking a long swig as they continued wandering through the park.

"Will I? I'll hold you to that, or at the very least get so drunk I don't care," He grinned and continued to move with her, cracking open his bottle as well to take a swig, turning his gaze down towards her and shaking his head, "And that swig makes me at least the 5th most law-breaking cop in my entire precint."

"Don't they? I can't see why they'd turn down a pretty girl like you; funny, hot, open, and honest. I know I enjoy my time with ya, I'd hit you up if I saw you across the bar. Still, we have a date planned and I have no intention of breaking out of that."

Another drink as she did so, moving slowly through the park with her, looking forward, and just thinking a bit, "Anything new in your life going on?"

"Again, you can do both. We can sober up at my place if you feel the need, or drink more there after the bar." A wicked grin and she rolled her eyes at him. "You're out with a stripper. I can't imagine any of your coworkers would fault you for misbehavior, honestly." Because it was true. She'd met some of them in the past and she doubted they would turn her down for whatever she wanted- even off the stings they did.

Molly raised a brow slightly and shrugged, assuming a slightly deeper, 'advising' voice. "That's crazy. You don't stick your dick in crazy," Words she had heard in reference to her a number of times. It didn't bother her much, and in fact kept a lot of the worst populations away from her while she was at work.

She shook her head a bit and shrugged again. "Nothing really new, no. Just been around, drinking, working, all the normal stuff."

"Really? Times have changed, back in my day crazy meant a likely fun, if not terrifying, but still fun time," He grinned at her, "But whatever, just means I get to do all the flirting with you tonight and don't have to share. And like you said, I'm out with a stripper, so I better go ahead and make the most of it and enjoy myself."

He winked then took a drink from his whiskey again as they walked, arm still hanging over her shoulder and then chuckled, "And I can't believe you're already inviting me over to your place. I'm not even drunk yet, you're not even drunk yet, it's almost like you actually want me to show up. It'd be far more comfortable than an empty back room though, that's for sure."

"No, crazy is dangerous." Molly nodded as though she was an expert in this field. She was close enough to it anyway, given that she had been called crazy for much of her young life. She took another sip from her bottle as they walked. It did mean that flirting could be centralized to the people that were going if they wanted, since all of them knew each other and so it was more comfortable than looking to outsiders (and safer too, honestly.)

She rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. "It's easier to sleep someplace you can walk to." Because that meant there was no worry about DUI, or ending up waking up next to someone that was entirely an unknown factor. That could be a bit unnerving.

"That it is, and don't roll your eyes at me. I'm just providing observations to the world and conversation we're having," He grinned, another drink and he gave her shoulder a squeeze, "Well if you're dangerous, Molly, then maybe that's why I keep you around. I seem to enjoy danger."

He gave the side of her head a kiss and then moved further into the park, looking around with a raised brow as he did so, "And right, easier to sleep someplace you can walk to. I do like not having to worry about it, and your place is generally pretty alright to wake up in. And it's better than waking up in a bar only to be thrown out in your own grime, and the grime of the city itself."

"Yes, mom," Molly teased back in a mocking tone. She had not followed the rules her mother had set forth in quite some time, and so it was obvious she would not be following his either. "Good thing, with your job and all. Don't think it would be something I'd want to do, honestly." Police work was difficult and not very rewarding, all things considered. It was more of a risk than Molly would want to take with herself, though she knew some people who worked there other than Aden as well.

The kiss drew a smirk from her and she shrugged. "I keep it neat enough to live in, if nothing else." Because she occasionally had people over and so she wanted to be sure that they could get comfortable there, even if it was very small and cramped most of the time.

"You'd be surprised how many cops are in fact supremely lazy and have zero desire to even remotely deal in danger. The hero cops exist too, the hero-mentality ones I should say, but not as many as people think. Most are just avoiding getting shot and hanging out in their cars. It sounds wonderful, and I should work on becoming that officer."

He thought for awhile, then grinned, nudging her, "But no, better not, or else someone will take my beat and will more than likely not be nearly as helpful to you and your multiple 'friends', that you seem to attract."

Nodding, Aden's smirk grew, "I don't really care if it's messy to be honest. You've seen my place I think. It's pretty run of the mill dirty and I don't think cleaning is necessary. I'm barely there anyway."

"Being lazy is never bad. Well, unless you're running a marathon. Being lazy in training while you're doing that can mean you won't be able to breathe later and breathing is important." Molly nodded slightly and leaned a bit more into him. He was nice to be near and he smelled good, of the whiskey she had brought and other things rather specific to him.

A soft laugh at the next comment and she nodded again. "Don't want to encourage them, no. Without you they might think they have a chance to get my attention." It was really irritating to her how a no from her didn't register until she had Aden around her. It showed a lack of respect and she wished it wasn't like that, though there was not much to be done.

"I try to keep the mess to one room, really." Because she had two rooms plus a bathroom and kitchen. If one was messy, the others at least could be clean and orderly so she wouldn't hurt herself tripping on things when it was late.

"I don't do well with lazy. It sounds nice, but I get bored and antsy, I want to do things. Move about, get out of the house. That sort of thing. I'm very good at whining about wanting to be lazy, while also not being very good at being lazy." He liked having her about, she felt nice under his arm, closest thing he had to comfort from another person really. He wasn't in love with her, no, god no. He wasn't really sure that sort of thing was in the cards for him at all really. But she was fun, and a bit crazy yes, but the kind of crazy he could get behind.

"I uh, I meant that another cop'd take my precint and wouldn't be so nice to you, because I'm nothing if not incredibly nice to you," He smirked and took another long drink from his whiskey, it felt good, it was warm, and it tasted terrible. It was perfect.

"Good on you, it's nice to have goals."

"That's why you've got me. Lots of drinking and lots of dancing and not much sitting in. Though I don't think my talents are up for a marathon..." Molly looked thoughtful for a moment before shrugging. Her brain went around in circles pretty regularly and so it was hard to follow her train of thought sometimes. Aden seemed to be used to it by now though, so that was helpful at least.

"You are. You turn a blind eye to the fact that I can be naughty, and you like playing." Because both of those things were beneficial to Molly since she was not very good at restraint even on the best of days, which were really few and far between.

"I do. Goals are important to keep you going."

"Your talents? What are your talents up for then? Just drinking and dancing? And yes, you're very naughty--I really should work on my phrasing--but you are. And it's fine, so long as it doesn't get in my way and you don't make me have to arrest you," He smirked and raised a brow, "Playing? How do you mean?"

He liked her, it was hard to follow her, she didn't always make sense, but it was also refreshing and fun and he liked that about her. Another swig, which was finally allowing him to loosen up a bit, which was Aden's biggest problem probably.

"I like goals. So what exactly is your goal here with the pre-game? Get drunk before we even show up at the bar, or just get prepared for it?"

"Gaming, movies....Netflix, though I guess maybe they could be marathons. Just not the running kind. Running isn't very exciting at all. I don't like it." Molly wrinkled her nose slightly before continuing. "And you like bedroom play and you're good enough and cute enough that I don't want tips and stuff from you." She was a stripper and so sleeping with men for money wasn't and had never been a far stretch for her as long as she knew they would pay. Aden got whatever he was into free - companionship or whatever - simply because he was good to her.

She knew she didn't always follow a proper train of logic. It came from having too many voices at once in her head, she guessed, but her friends never seemed to mind much and she was grateful for that. It meant she could
Be herself and not worry much about being teased.

"Just a little tipsy and we can head to the bar." Molly nodded slightly. She would be drunk by the end of the night and so she wasn't super worried about being drunk now.

"Very good talents to have, I agree," Aden smirked and another long swig, taking the bottle to half gone while they walked, looking around the park as they did. He had to admit, he was kind of working all the time, observing, checking for anything suspicious as he went about his night with Molly. It was a force of habit, and if he realized he was doing it, he'd feel badly about it.

Looking over at her again, he grinned, "Well, I do enjoy bedroom play with you. And don't tell me about tips, I don't need to know you're taking money for anything... other than dancing. Best to not be an accomplice to anything."

He then laughed, the officer's face nearing hers a second as he whispered, leaning his head down next to her own, "Molly, is there ever a time where you're not a little bit tipsy already?" He winked and kissed the side of her head again, another drink and he moved to grab a seat on a park bench, gesturing for her to follow, "we're a bit early, and I hate being early, so let's take our time."

She allowed her talents to get her where she was in life - settled enough that she could handle whatever lie threw at her when things happened. She was relatively independent that way, and so she simply enjoyed whatever she did when she did it. She took another sip from her bottle as well, looking around because he did- part of her wondering if he saw or heard something, though it didn't matter that much. She would know if someone intended to attack them or try to rob them, at least a few seconds before.

"It's tips. I get tips for dancing, silly." Because it was true. The types of dancing varied. So did the tip amount. She didn't have to get that specific though. "Obviously I'll be dancing for you before other stuff, but no tip required.

"I'm probably not tipsy when I wake up mostly?" It depended on when she went to sleep and when she woke up. She followed him to the bench and smirked at him before perching on his lap. "You're right. Early is no fun. What should we do in the meanwhile?"

"Right, well, as long as it's only tips for dancing," He grinned, setting down his bottle when she took perch in his lap, and his hand came to rest against the small of her back, the other moving to her thigh while he looked up at her, raising a brow, "Mostly? That's a start. Again, goals."

Another laugh and he shrugged at her smirk, gazing at her, taking her in, "I rather like it when you dance for me you know. Never used to like it, I'd go with friends but it wasn't fun for me--you, however, are very good at it. A bit too good, it's gotten me into a bit more trouble than I'd like to admit," like letting her off the hook on a few things here or there he really probably shouldn't.

"Well, drinking and talking seems to be working out pretty well, we could keep doing that if there are any interesting stories you want to share, or we could just make out. Because most of what we do all leads to that anyway, even when it's not each other. We're terrible people."

"Mostly. I am sober when I visit my family too. The littler ones don't need to see me falling all over myself, you know?" Molly respected her family enough to not show up drunk, and she usually tucked her hair up so she wasn't showing all the variant colours in it like she did when it was down around her face or in a ponytail. "I don't much like being sober though. It makes me all headachy and sad too quickly. I don't like being sad."

Molly didn't do a lot of illegal things. The pay for sex was the biggest one, and she never really understood why that was illegal. It was just like dating honestly. You got things in exchange for other things. That was it. "I don't wanna get you in trouble, though. I know who to be careful around, so if you want I can just dance for you at your place or mine, and we can have fun like that..."

A grin curved her lips as he spoke, and she leaned to teasingly nip at his earlobe. "We're good people. We just need distractions sometimes." Because they both had their difficulties and she liked to be able to be there for him in her ways- even if she was a bit off usually, he was her friend.

"Well good, don't be drunk around the kids. That's usually a good motto to have," He laughed again, he liked her. He wasn't sure if she was always kidding around or joking, sometimes she was serious about things that seemed obvious, but he didn't mind. He still found her funny, and a joy to be around. He liked her. And he nodded, "Sad does suck, though alcohol doesn't always help."

He drank because of his sadness as well, so he understood. He then smirked at her comment about dancing, but he shrugged it off, "Nah, you can dance for me whenever you want to. No matter where we are. So long as we're not at, say, the precinct or something. Then I might have to say no. That won't get me in any real trouble. I'm okay with it, I like it. There's a taboo to it that thrills me," He drew his hand up along her back and nodded, "Still, we can have fun like that anytime as well, so long as we can get away with it. You're my bad side, and I need one of those every once in awhile. Reminds me to be human."

His grip on her thigh tightened as he squeezed, leaning against her light nip, his own lips brushing against her neck as she did so, "We do, and you're a wonderful distraction."

Molly nodded slightly. "It's bad to be drunk around them. Sets a bad example. Don't want to have them turning out like me, right?" Though it was unlikely. Most of her siblings were pretty normal and happy kids. She had been the only real strange one, and while she knew it affected them, she at least had left so it couldn't continue to do so. She tried to be good with that. "Drinking makes me forget to notice that I'm sad, at least." Her fingers trailed over his cheek and she smiled at him, wanting to please as much as she could.

"I bet the other officers would be interested in watching too. You should see the ones they send in lately for stings. Younger than me, half of 'em, and they would probably forget what they were there for if I offered to bed them." She didn't think she had ever been that innocent though, so she sometimes envied it.

She purred softly at the touch of his lips on her neck, and shifted slightly so her backside rubbed against him. Her fingers moved to his hair next and she smiled. "I do adore your hair, you know..."

He laughed and nodded, "I don't know, I like how you turned out, but no... we're supposed to want the kids to be better than us right? Be a fucking organic produce farmer, don't be a cop. It's a shitty job, for shitty pay, and you spend your time around other shitty people. Although it has its perks, meeting women like you," He laughed and raised a brow looking up at her, "Drinking does help. I find going to a boxing club and punching on a bag helps a lot too."

He bit at her neck a moment when she grabbed at his hair, shaking his head as he pulled away a moment later to look up at her, "Don't give into those cops. It'd make me jealous." He winked, joking of course, and grinned as she ground back against him with her backside, "Tease."

He raised a brow, "Those young kids don't know how to run a sting anyway, easy to spot a mile away--and you know, I like my hair too. Bout the only thing I really worry about in the morning."

"Yeah. Can't have the kids settling for any less than the best." Molly agreed with that. She wanted her siblings to be successful in whatever they did. "I think Daniel though might go against that. He wants to be a police officer I think. Last time I was there that was what he said anyway." It could have changed at this point, her brother was notorious for changing his mind. "And music helps too, at least for me."

"I wouldn't. They're boring." She shook her head and toyed a bit more with his hair, adjusting again in his lap to rub against him. She liked being able to give him a fun time, and she wasn't a tease really. She always followed through with him- offering at least a small center of pleasure where she could.

"They are, yes. It's funny. They fool the new girls sometimes, we sometimes have to pull them away." Molly and the other older girls knew how to spot police and were fast to step in when they were needed.

"Well tell him to make sure he gets high marks, and works hard at it so he can get a higher pay, and a better precinct. Don't want these beats, they're a killer on you mentally," He grinned at her music comment, "What sort of music for you then?"

He laughed, pushing up against her rubbing, he liked having fun with this woman. She was attentive, seemed to enjoy herself, seemed to want it as well. He drew his hands up along her thigh a bit more, squeezing at the inner part as he let his eyes hold onto her own, "And I'm glad they're boring. Means they're not completely broken or dejected quite yet."

Lifting his lips then, he caught hers, kissing her wantonly, letting his hands trail a bit, rather enjoying her proximity, she felt good against him. He then pulled his lips away, "I'll see if I can call off some of the stings for you."

"He's a smart kid. Should do well if it's what he wants." It wasn't up to her to make choices for her siblings. They were all old enough to do that- or if they weren't, they were at least still home with their parents and didn't have to worry about it. She ran a hand through her hair and shrugged. "I'm not picky. Music is music. I like classical as much as rock and pop. As long as it's music."

She felt him responding to her and a smirk curved her lips again as she rolled her hips playfully. He was enjoying himself as much as she was. That was a bonus, one she approved of. Her hand slipped to his leg and stroked upward, a playful grin still on her face.

"Don't worry about it. The kids learn fast, and some of the boys could use some lessons too." She kissed him in return, teasingly nipping his bottom lip with mischief in her gaze.

"A girl after my own heart," He laughed, biting a bit at her lip in return to her own nips and bites. She was enjoying herself and that made this whole thing more exciting in and of itself. Drawing his fingers up and around her back now, both hands moved down along her spine, and this time curled down over her backside, giving a bit of hefty squeeze as he drew his lips along her own, grinning at the hand that came to his leg.

"If you're not careful, we're going to be breaking more than a few laws in this park you know. And what, are you going to be the one teaching these kids? A good teacher, I should think," He kissed at her chin then, eyes watching her own, before falling shut a bit, simply enjoying her rolling hips and curious hands.

A soft laugh passed her lips as he traced along her form. It was good, and she closed her eyes for a moment to simply enjoy it without any other sensory input ruining the moment. Her own hands moved a bit higher on his thighs as well, and she smiled at him, moving again to nip at his earlobe and then rest her head on his shoulder.

"We shouldn't do that," Molly murmured, a hint of mischief in her eyes still. "We could find someplace a bit more...hidden?" Because she didn't want to get him into trouble. "And I can teach the girls. The cops though will have to learn on their own I think."

Aden nodded and sighed, rather loudly, and obviously a bit exaggerated, shaking his head, "And who would have thought you'd be the cooler head of us two. You're right of course, we shouldn't, and find a hidden place? What? Like behind some bushes?" He laughed and kissed against her neck as she rested her head on his shoulder, drawing his hands up to her back to kind of hold her there as he shrugged.

"That wouldn't be too bad, but then we might be really late for the bar."

Molly giggled and nipped his neck again, shrugging. "I'm clever enough sometimes. Just often forget." It was true. She knew proper behaviour and how to be careful. She just sometimes got distracted. She lightly brushed his hair from his face and kissed him, gently this time. "We can do a little for you before, and then go to the bar and finish off after." She was okay with waiting usually since being with him meant that she would get satisfaction eventually.

"Should we start walking over?" She took the last sip from her own bottle, licking her lips with a pleased look.

"You are very clever, I mean that, you're an exceptional person Molly," He then returned the kiss as she leaned back, his eyes looking up at her when she pulled away, and then he shook his head, "Uh-uh, goes against my code of conduct. If I'm getting any sort of satisfaction, I need to return the favor."

He kissed her again, and then picked up his bottle to take a long drink from it, winking to her and nodding, "But yes, let's."
