Drifter ([info]chaosforcash) wrote in [info]outofshadowsrpg,

Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
WHO: Drifter and Kaisa Galanos
WHAT: Crossing paths
WHEN: 8/21; around 11pm.
WHERE: college campus
RATING: High - blood drinking, NPC death, language, drugs...it's Drifter.

Boredom was a constant for the man who didn't age or die. Hell after living for over a century there wasn't much that really managed to hold the vampire's interest for long. Oh the drugs and drinking helped numb that dull ache, yet it was the music that really kept Drifter going. For a hundred plus years he had wandered the world, a weary musician traveling down the dusty roads in search of a place to play. The songs and haunting melodies were always just there out of reach, a hidden symphony swirling around within his brain. Maybe the drugs and drinking had left him a little addled at times, but after a fucking long century Drifter had honed his craft well. He was there in the background of all those old photos; always around the once living legends of music. The muse that jammed with them in smokey back rooms, and partied with them in dark crowded bars.

Now though such days were long gone, and those gifted humans had all passed away. The 'new' world, with all it's technology, grew far too small for Drifter and it was hard to revel in it all when any fucking fool had a camera on their cell phones these days. Hidden just out of sight was how he preferred to live, but such things became harder in the current Age. So here the vamp was, in the campus parking lot, drinking deep from the neck of a girl he found out late and wandering all alone. The taste of blood flooded into his mouth, so hot and delicious. Yet even as his head was swimming, thanks to the bottles of whiskey he had downed just a bit ago, the sound of someone singing reached his ears. Off in the distance he could hear that sweet sound as a new girl seemed to be making her way down the sidewalk...so blissfully unaware of the madness that was lurking just on the other side of the fence.

That song of hers pulled all his focus though, and thoughts of his meal faded away almost as rapidly as his victim's life faded away. It had been ages since anything had stirred him so, but there was no denying that that siren's song had caught his complete attention. Without giving it a second thought the vampire just suddenly snapped his poor victim's neck, leaving her body crumpled there on the pavement, before he moved to investigate the source of the song. In the blink of an eye the vampire hopped the tall fence and landed with impossible grace a few feet behind her. Silent as the grave he moved, slowly striding behind as his gaze drifted over the young woman's form. Oh she was attractive to be sure, as far as humans go, but it was her voice that held his attention. Without saying a thing he just followed behind, his feet never making a sound at all as the vampire tagged along.

Past, present and future had always been laid out before Kaisa. For as long as she remembered, she had gotten glimpses into people's lives, as well as her own. There were moments that she touched an object and would lose herself in someone's most private memory, or catch sight of how they would die surrounded by loved ones sixty years from now. There were even moments that she caught sight of her own future, days with friends, family, or nightmares of things that may come true.

Kaisa was used to it though. Years of being half stuck in the past present and future made it normal for her, but recently it'd gotten worse. There were times she fell into a vision and thought that it was the present. It had scared her, but she was being careful to not be out alone too often lest she end up confused and out of focus in the world around her.

Tonight though, she was feet firmly planted in the present as she made her way back to her dorm. The school was quiet since classes had not quit started, the campus only opened for those moving back into the dorms. Kaisa herself had only gotten there earlier that day. It was kind of freeing to have the whole school to herself. She could do whatever she wanted to.

Getting an idea, she began to singing one of her favorite songs in the world. It was something that she'd loved for years. She was oblivious to the danger that followed behind her as she walked.

Enthralled he was in that present moment. She was the siren, the pied piper luring him closer with every sweet note that slipped free from her lips. Breathless and without a beating heart Drifter made no noise at all as he followed behind as if he were her shadow. So close to touch her, yet his hand remained still. Those notes of hers held such raw talent, in need of a little refining perhaps, but still this young woman had the gift to be sure. Killing her had crossed Drifter's mind. Not for food, or sport, but to preserve her in this moment.

Forever young, never aging...his own little mocking bird, caged for his amusement yet no longer bound by the mortal coil. That thought alone brought the faintest hint of a smile to his crimson coated lips. However the vampire made no move to do such a thing. Oh there was always time for such amusement later, but for now he found himself quite content to just listen as she sang on.

It was only as her song drew to a close that his hand reached out at last. Instead of seizing her right then and there though Drifter's fingers just gently brushed across her hair. A single razor sharp claw appeared for a moment, cutting off a single feather from her headband. A keepsake perhaps, or simply a token to add to his hat. Either way the man made no sound at all, even as his fingers brushed ever so softly across the back of her neck by accident as he started to pull his hand away from her.

Just enjoying the moment, Kaisa reveled in her life. This was what it felt like to be young and normal. It was these moments that she craved all her life. Kaisa had so few of them that each one was precious to her.

Because they ended all too quickly, and so did this one. Kai barely felt the brush of skin on her own, but it was enough as her vision flared white before she was someone else, somewhere else. The feel of silk on his bare skin and the bite of the guitar strings against his calloused fingers were focused on first. Tactile always was what rooted her in the vision. But then his sight focused and there was the beautiful woman before him and love bloomed through him. But pain and blood followed shortly behind it, and the knowledge that he was dying. She will save him though, she has promised.

Kaisa ignores the bitter taste of blood on his lips as his beautiful lover comes close. He braces as he feels the sharp pain of the bite, then the hazy pleasure. He is dying, but it does not matter with her here....

"Mariselle..." The word escapes Kaisa's lips, a plea or a prayer as the vision fades, sapping her strength as realities blur for a moment. She is dying and living at once. Her knees buckle as she drops to the ground and takes a strong gasp of air as she is finally freed fully.

Jeremiah went so still as Kaisa seemed to freeze right there on the spot, an eyebrow raising as he wondered what just happened. Yet before he could give it a single thought that name was heard on her lips. Like a bolt of lightning striking him a look of genuine shock swept across his face, eyes so wide as confusion washed through him. Even as she began to fall Drifter was on the move, impossibly strong hands somehow so gently catching her by the arms and guiding her as she dropped to her knees.

His whole body trembled though the vampire didn't understand why. That name she spoke; the name of his sire and now deceased lover...no not just the name, but the way she said it...it mirrored the way he once called out to her on that night that he died so long ago.

Without thinking he suddenly disappeared from behind her, reappearing an instant later kneeling down right before her. Those eyes of his locked onto her own, and a shaky hand moved to so softly touch the side of Kaisa's face. Drifter had no clue what to make of any of it, but for the first time in decades he found himself truly focused and present in the moment. "Just what the hell was that, darling?" A softly as he spoke up there was a hint of his Southern/cajun accent clear as day. Yet the tattooed biker/rockstar looking vamp's style seemed to clash with that southern accent.

It was taking a moment to remember who she was and where she was, but there were strong hands holding her and helping to keep her focused on the moment. Yes... her name was Kaisa and she was a teenage girl, not a man losing his life.

Her eyes were slightly out of focus when she came to look up at the man who had caught her, the one who she had been in the vision. "Jeremiah.... I like your accent." She said softly before shaking her head again and forcing herself to focus. "S-sorry. I must have tripped. Don't mind me, I'll be fine in a moment. Thank you."

Kaisa tried to rise again, but her legs trembled and reminded her that it would take a few more minutes before her strength would return. Damn her visions. The girl looked up at her hero and took notice of the blood on him, flinching as she did and thinking of the blood he had coughed up in her vision. Without thinking, she reached out and rubbed a bit from his lips to clean them.

To hear her speak the name of his sire was one thing, but to hear Kaisa speak his own name; the name that no one else had uttered in nearly a hundred years except for Mariselle herself...it left him at a complete loss for words. Drifter was the name he had used ever since he died, but hearing it now was so strange and foreign. Coherent thought had never really been his strong suit, truth be told, but right now it was just a struggle to think at all.

Oh he would have likely blushed, if it were physically possible anymore, when she spoke of liking his accent. Doubly so when Drifter watched her reach out and wipe the till fresh blood from his lips too. Luckily for him though the dead don't blush.

At last it was only when he noticed her try and fail to rise that the man moved at last, pulling her up with such ease and inhuman power. Oh he took great care to be gentle with her, holding her in his arms as they stood, and keeping her from falling again. None of this made any damn sense at all, but instead of seeking the logical amid the bizarre Drifter found himself feeling something stir deep inside him. Like a spark of a dying ember a wave of long since forgotten feelings burned brightly within. Memories washed over him of that very night so long ago, and without thinking Jeremiah found himself leaning closer in.

His lips pressed against hers suddenly, a deep passionate kiss springing forth as the thought of Mariselle's lips rushed to the forefront of his mind. To hear his name uttered...to hear hers said aloud...all of it engulfed and enflamed some part of him that Jeremiah thought had died decades ago...feelings that he thought had died with his sire died as well. Whether it was Kaisa or Mariselle he was kissing even Drifter couldn't say, but in that moment real passion flowed through him for the first time in decades. Those hands of his so gently held her, one resting on her lower back as the fingers of his other hands lightly caressed the back of her neck.

It was always Kaisa's first reaction to pretend to be fine after a vision. To slip away and recover herself away from anyone who could not understand her. It was why she tried to move so soon, even if she knew she really couldn't yet. It was a welcome surprise though to feel his strong arms holding her up though.

Kaisa was about to offer her thanks when the man leaned closer to him before capturing her lips in a sudden and heated kiss. It was with surprised that she surrendered to the kiss, the feel of his cool lips and the metallic taste of blood on her lips. She seemed delicate in his arms, as if the wrong moment would break the petite woman.

Jeremiah wasn't the hero. He wasn't the knight that saved the damsel either. If anything he had become the very monster that mortals fled from. Even just a few moments ago he had slaughtered a helpless young woman, and a trace of her innocent blood was shared with the fiery kiss. Yet for all the wicked things he had done, not a single thought of harming Kaisa entered his mind.

Hell the vamp was down right gentle in the way he held her, embracing her like a lover whose lips he longed to taste again and again. The fact that she surrendered to the moment only made it that much sweeter, and while he could have remained like that forever something in the back of his mind reminded Jeremiah that mortals needed to breathe. So with a soft little sigh, and maybe the faintest hint of a whimper, his lips pulled away from hers at last. Oh he paused to ever so softly offer a playful nip at her lower lip with blunted teeth too. Without thinking he swept her up into his arms, holding her against him as impossible speed carried them away from that spot and a second later he was so carefully sitting her down at a bench nearby.

The man sat beside her a moment later, those eyes of his still holding confusion in them...but not also more then a little hint of desire. Instead of moving to kiss her anew though the vamp leaned back on the bench, taking a second to lick his lips and humming to himself at the taste of her there. "Got some divine lips on ya, darling. Taste so sweet to be sure."

Kaisa wasn't all that well versed in the way of kisses, but she guessed that this was a good one, even if it was with a sort of stranger. When he broke the kiss, she was looking up at him, confusion on her face. She was feeling lost and confused. There wasn't a moment to collect herself as he earned a soft gasp from her at his playful nip and then gathered her into his arms to carry her.

"I... " She tried to say something more, but then she was in his arms and speeded to a bench. There was a moment that she tried to figure out how he was moving like that, but she was reminded of what he became in her vision. Kaisa had heard of vampires but had never met one herself.

Once on the bench,Kaisa kept her eyes down as tried to regain her focus again. A deep breath in and a reminder of who she was helped, but then Jeremiah spoke and drew her attention to him. A rosy blush crossed the college student's cheeks as he mentioned her lips. "T-thank you?" She said, making it more of a question than anything. "I... My name is Kaisa." She finally said, figuring she should at least introduce herself to the man she's had a vision of and shared a kiss with.

Between that tiny soft gasp, the sudden shyness he saw in her, and that blush on her cheeks Jeremiah was nearly enthralled all over again with her. Oh it had been ages since he did this sort of thing; since he sat and chatted with a pretty little thing, and found himself actually feeling some slight flutter of butterflies in his guts. For decades now the vamp had lived a life of excess and pleasure, yet since his time with Mariselle no one ever even truly held his interest.

There were a few very talented types out there; mortal musicians that he felt some measure of kinship with. But this was...different. Whether it was because Kaisa had managed to stir up some part of his humanity from the ether, or if his decades of self isolation had finally cracked the vamp's mind...well even Drifter wasn't too certain. However the how of it all didn't really matter to him. Living in the present was all that he had, since the man could never return to the past and he was quite literally frozen in time and unable to age or die thanks to his sire's kiss.

So if the present was all he had left, well then Miah knew he may as well seek to enjoy it. Most of the time that meant hunting and feeding off the humans, consuming an ungodly amount of drugs and alcohol, or locking himself away to write a single piece of music that itched at his brain. But here and now...well he found himself enjoying being right where he was; sitting beside the young woman who had completely surprised him. "Most know me as Drifter, but ya know my real name, sugar. Suppose I ought to wonder bout that a bit more...but I reckon that ya'd tell me if and when ya wanted. So let's just say that it's a pleasure to meet ya, Kaisa. And no need for that...I should be thanking you, cause that really was on hell of a kiss."

Kaisa took the moment to look over the man before her. He was different than what she knew he once looked, the ink up and down his body being the most prominent difference. For a moment, she was lost trying to decipher all the different images and symbols before drawing her attention back to his face. The smile on his lips was warm and drawing. He was handsome, if not in a traditional sense. Kai liked it.

"Drifter... I can call you that if you prefer." She liked his real name. It seemed to fit him, or at least she imagined it did. Kaisa was blushing again and offering a slightly shy smile as he spoke about the kiss. "I think it takes two to make it good though."

His question about knowing his name forced Kaisa to drop her eyes downward to the ground as if it were suddenly fascinating. "I'm sorry.I... I saw it." She said, hoping that he would either simply accept her words or wouldn't be too mad at least.

Drifter made no effort to look away as she studied him intently, his own gaze looking her over as well as she did. In all honesty most humans tended to just be viewed as little more then food for him, but a rare few were seen in a softer light. This young woman sitting so close had already earned a ticket off the menu from the moment she uttered Mariselle's name, and after that heated kiss the vampire doubted he could kill her too. Well...and least if he did end up killing her at some point he knew he'd make it quick and painless.

Again his smile grew, though it seemed more akin to a teasing smirk than a warm smile, when she spoke up. With a slight shrug of his shoulders the man chimed in at last. "Can call me whatever ya want, darling. Doesn't matter to me one way or another." He would have sworn that he heard her heart race a little faster when Kaisa spoke of the kiss, and that blush on her face confirmed it. A soft chuckle was his only response, aside from a playful wink too.

When her gaze drifted down and away though Jeremiah paused, a slight frown tugging at the corner of his lips. Before saying a thing his hand reached out, his fingers so gently caressing her cheek and turning her head back to look at him once again. " Hey now, none of that, little one. Got nothing to be sorry bout, and I sure as hell wasn't prying. Learned long ago that there's all manner of mystery out in the world...figure why spoil the beauty of it by worrying bout the how of it all."

He had no doubt that she was telling the truth about 'seeing it' but honestly as curious as he was Drifter had offer more amusing things on the mind...and so he just leaned a little closer in and offered a smaller kiss on her lips. Passion was still there in spades, yet he didn't press her this time. Instead the vamp just kissed her slowly as his hand brushed her hair back away from her ear and his thumb traced along her earlobe.

The offer to let her call him whatever Kaisa wished put her a little more at ease. If given the choice, she would keep with his true name. It seemed a bit more fitting with the man from the vision than Drifter. "Alright. Then I will still to Jeremiah."

The touch of his cool fingers against her skin drew Kaisa's eyes back up a she glanced at him. He didn't seem to care about her powers? That was a rarity. So many people wanted to know the hows and whys or simply fear what it was that she was.It was refreshing to have someone who simply accepted it without question. The smile that she offered to him was shy, but it was warm and honest. "Thank you."

She would have said something else, but once again Kaisa's lips were preoccupied with his. The kiss was lighter, but just as nice. Her mind wasn't as hazy as it was the first time, but she let him continued for a moment longer than she should have. When the man touched her ear though, she let out a gasp and shiver before pulling back quickly.

He wasn't someone she knew for more than a vision and a moment which meant that she really shouldn't let him touch and kiss her. He was a stranger and she was alone. Trying to shove that quick spark of panic down and reminding herself that he'd been nothing but kind so far, Kaisa slowly stood this time. "I..I should probably go. My friends are going to be looking for me soon. It was nice to meet you Jeremiah."

The vampire wasn't exactly the romantic sort; not one for social niceties either. For decades he lived by the simple principle of want/take/have yet something about her threw him off the usual routine. Oh that voice of hers had certainly garnered her favor, though she didn't likely know it just yet. Hell if it weren't for that he may have just added her to the meal ticket for the evening and after draining her dry Drifter would have wandered away to find some other measure of amusement. However fate, or perhaps just extraordinary luck, spared her from such a fate...her song holding back his monstrous side long enough for her other gift to change the whole game.

Instead of cat and mouse she became something else in his eyes, though even Jeremiah wasn't sure just what to make of it. Was she the reincarnation of Mariselle, or perhaps simply an ethereal memory given human form? Had he been one for self reflection and introspection Drifter may have pondered such things further, but as it stood none of the whats and hows really mattered to him. For this moment in time he wasn't bored, and that alone was a rarity in and of itself. Not willing to kill her her and now, not willing to risk losing the one spot of entertainment he had had in over a decade, the vamp just flash a wicked smile as he watched her gasp and shiver at his touch.

Even as she spoke he was already on the move, suddenly standing in front of her. Oh he made no effort to touch her again, nor did the vampire lean closer to force another kiss. Instead Drifter just took a second to light up a cigarette, though his hands blurred so quickly that it was neigh impossible to see just when and how he had pulled out the lighter and pack of smokes. After taking a drag and exhaling at last his voice was heard once again. "Probably should be heading off, darling. The hour is getting late and there's plenty of baddies waiting out there in the dark. Still suppose I can walk ya to wherever ya need to go if ya like. Wouldn't do to have some thing go snatching ya away into the dark."

There was no trace of a threat in his tone at all, and for the briefest moment it almost sounded as if he was genuinely concerned about her well being. After all Jeremiah had just found this little beauty, and losing her to another monster just didn't sit well with him. "And who knows...after tonight we could meet up again, maybe this time ya'd sing for me and I'd play along with my guitar?"

Jeremiah's sudden movements made Kai jump slightly, but she managed to hold her ground as she glanced up at him. There was the dual feeling of being wary of the man before her and feeling comfortable, as if she knew him even when she knew that really she did not. One moment in time does not make or break a person.

But he did seem kind. He was also quite right. The world was filled with things that went bump in the night and Kaisa was often woefully vulnerable to such things. His offer and the hint of concern earned another of her smiles as she gave a short nod.

"I would like the company. Though now I'm embarrassed that you managed to hear my singing.I'm not usually one to sing in public, but I thought I was alone. I wouldn't mind hearing your guitar though. I love music."

A single eyebrow of his arched just for a second when he watched her jump, yet the vamp held his tongue...and even managed to not smirk. Fear was sweet to be sure; that taste of adrenaline in the blood, the quickened pulse and breathing. All of it was just one more thing that Drifter enjoyed drawing out of his prey. Yet with her, with Kaisa alone, it wasn't something he really desired. Oh tasting her was on his brain, but he could still taste her lips on his own after their two kisses. And for now that was enough to sate him.

Kindness wasn't a natural trait that he possessed anymore. Compassion was just something that had slipped away when Jeremiah died and returned as this eternal creature. There were still traces of it though, faint as they were, that had laid dormant for so long...and she alone seemed to have garnered what little humanity that remained within him. Again he should have questioned the why of it all, but in the end such deep thoughts were shoved aside as he focused on the present since Kaisa accepted his offer.

"Been a long time since I was anyones company, sugar. Still i'm sure I can give it a shot. No need to be embarrassed though; got yourself a sweet voice and soft delicious lips too. Met quite a few gifted folk over the last century, and I can say with some authority that ya have one hell of a gift too." The thought of playing with her, of getting to perform with her singing along, thrilled him to no end. "Lead the way, darling."

More than once, Kaisa's friends had mentioned that she was more trusting that she should be and had they been here, there would be no doubt a long conversation about trusting people who had blood on their lips when you first meet them. But trust Kaisa did as she started walking, guiding him straight towards her dorm room.

'It's really not that hard to be good company. You just need to be friendly and nice. Think you can handle it?" She said with a playful wink. His compliments did make her feel good though. "Now I think you're just trying to butter me up so I'm willing enough to sing for you again." Turning down one of the pathways, she could already catch sight of the dorm buildings. Already there were lights in most of the room as students began to decorate and prepare for the semester.

"It's a little sad but I like it better when the school is almost empty." She said with a quick motion to a group of students moving into one of the other buildings, moving fridges and boxes inside and talking loudly. Kaisa avoided people and went out of her way to ensure that she had a single dorm each year and this year was no different.

Honor and loyalty had never been a part of Miah's life. Death, desire, sheer impulse...those alone were the constants threads that wove together the tapestry of his unending life. Oh the music was there at the core of it all. Some dark deep need to play and perform. Not for the crowds, nor the adoration, but to try and expel the haunting melodies from within his mind. Since he was old enough to walk music had always been there, the compulsion and passion to create such beauty. That art was the driving force behind his every waking moment, and even now she was swept up into it.

That voice of hers, that love of music she spoke of, all of it called to the vampire even more then bloodlust. Oh her other gift had reached him too, had stoked flames into a internal fire he thought long dead. Combined Kaisa was proving to be an alluring new muse, yet Drifter still found himself unsure of just which of his desires he wanted to sate. He followed along, walking right beside, as she led the way. Those piercing eyes of his seemingly far more focused on her on the path that she walked, and when she playfully winked at him Jeremiah actually smiled softly. "Haven't been either of those things in a lifetime or two...but I reckon for ya alone I could give it a shot. It ain't about buttering ya up though since we both know ya love music, and something tells me that you're wondering how well a vamp like me can handle the guitar."

With a chuckle it was his turn to offer up a teasing wink this time. "Not really sad at all, darling. Prefer the peace and quiet myself, and there ain't nothing wrong with long to be free of the noise and chaos all these folks bring with em."

"I do love music, but I am also a bit shy when it comes to performing myself though. I'm usually the shower singing type, not the stage seeker." She might have liked the idea as a child of being on a stage, but she knew that such a life was not in her future. Her own future often came in confusing or quick bursts of visions and she knew some things to be true. Writing was where her greatest gifts lay. One day, she hoped to be an author and create stories of her own rather than watching others.

"But you are right. I want to see what you can do with that instrument in person." Because while she knew he knew how to handle it and her vision promised skill, there had only been a few simple chords before he'd given into the vision.

This time his wink drew her smile back up, growing even wider as she looked at the dorms. "Yeah, just enjoy the world as it is without all if the insanity. Of course, a little insanity can be good too now and again."

The shyness had never been an issue for Jeremiah, yet while he loved playing the stage it was the writing and composing that he enjoyed even more. There had been times when he literally went weeks without rest, locked away in some rundown motel room, working on a single piece. Oh he'd eventually stir long enough to go drain some poor bastard dry, but soon enough he'd be right back to work. "Loved the gigs for sure, and I was sad to let em go when it grew to hard to stay outta the papers. Still music ain't all about rocking the mic...found more joy in composing or playing a few backroom venues, then in standing before the large crowds."

So close to the dorms, yet still just far enough away from the other students moving about the place, he paused at last to turn and look at her as she spoke again. His cigarette was tossed away before his fingers reached out to rest on her arms, suddenly yet gently pulling her close enough until he was leaning down to softly whisper into her ear. "Got a hundred years of practice with these hands of mine, darling. Can play just about any instrument out there, and these fingers can have ya singing the high notes too if ya wanted em too. Still ya aren't wrong bout wanting to just enjoy the world...maybe some day soon I'll help ya experience just how much pleasure this place really does have to offer."

With a devilish grin his fingertips so lightly caressed along her arms as he spoke. Yet instead of trying to kiss her again the vampire just offered the tiniest little nip at her lower lip again before he chuckled and took a step away. "Got ya here all safe and sound, so best ya head on in before I end up deciding to take another taste of the luscious lips of yours, Kaisa."

"That's true. Music is about what it can convey and make a person feel. That's true of all good art though." She thought of all the things she loved and found beauty in, from poetry to paintings. "I bet it would be amazing to see you in front of an audience though."

Kaisa was starting to learn that she should be watching Jeremiah more closely since he seemed to have little problems tugging her close or kissing her. As she was drawn in close to him and he whispered, her cheeks could only grow redder and redder, making her fair skin look like it was on fire. No one had ever said anything like that to her before and it wasn't hard to imagine just what he could do with such skilled hands. Desire pulsed through her like a a molten flame, but her reaction was simply to stand there doe eyed as he nipped at her lips for a moment afterwards.

"I... yeah... I'll um see you around Jeremiah." she bit her lip in the exact spot he had only a moment before before giving into her own quick desire and leaning up to kiss him at the edge of his lips before turning to hurry to the building and up to her room.

"True enough, darling...and ya just may get that wish since I'll likely get bored so enough and find myself a venue to play. Wouldn't say no to having ya there." Most of the crowd had always been faceless for him; but the thought of having Kaisa around when he was on stage actually brought a slight smile to his face.

Boldness was par for the course when it came to the vamp; after all he was never one to shy away from what he desired, and he certainly desired her. Still it was exhilarating to see how she responded to his touch, and the warmth of her body so close to his certainly felt good. Kaisa actually surprised him with that little kiss, and as she turned to hurry away his words echoed out from the shadows even as he seemed to vanish.

"...can count on it, darling."
