"Binoculars? Please, what's the fun of being a wolf if you can't take advantage of your natural gifts?" Like being beautiful, for one, and dimpling at the young man that graciously offered to opened the door for the ladies. Or being clever enough to get both Royce and the human he adored out of the way. Or simply using her hunting skills enough to take a quick glance at the room, determine the hot guy prey in question, and give him a long once over to assess her strategy.
"Hamburger Boy," as he was known, was a tall, strapping specimen of human, a member of the dark-hair-and-blue-eyed breed with a broad forehead, strong nose and chin, and high cheekbones. Lovely, actually. Eyes were round with crinkles at each corner, as well as at the side of his luscious lips. He laughed a lot. Good sign. Of course, her eyes were a tad distracted as they were torn from the man's face and fell to his body. Golden Burger's standard uniform included a yellow and brown vertical-striped shirt, white apron and white slacks. Each a hideous attack on the eyes... except when one happened to notice that Hamburger Boy's sleeves were tight on him, due not to an ill-fitting garment, but to the bi- and tri-ceps that were straining beneath the cloth. This guy was deceptively slender, not at all beefy, but what flesh he had was completely devoid of unnecessary fat and skin. It was all cord-like muscle, hidden underneath a layer of yellow and white monotony.
All this Dayle took in at a glance, curious about this newcomer and object of the younger wolf's obvious (if not immature) attentions and delighted with the person she found. "You've got good taste," she murmured to Rosemary, eyes never leaving their target. So she noticed when Hamburger Boy, as if hearing her comment, looked up and spotted the two girls waiting by the door.
"Can I help you ladies? Interested in a number #17 special?"
And in the space of a breath, Dayle turned from cunning huntress to charming beauty, throwing on a sultry smile and slinking forward. "Why yes, I do believe you can. I was just looking over the menu and thought everything looked so darn tasty, I just didn't know where to begin." Truth. Sort of. "I'm thinking of picking your brain for some ideas. We- oh, hang on. Rosemary, doll, what are you doing standing over there for? Come join me and- excuse me, what's your name again?"
"Caleb."
"Caleb. Cute. Rose, come join Caleb and I. You'll never get what you want standing all alone in the corner."
